I got the single stud version. Worked good as a connection location with limited space. If you have the room, get the double, as it has the ability to hook more cables together.

I rate this item : ★★★★★ (5/5)This mini 12V Bus Bar has become a recent addition to my Tracker Pro 170' Electrical system. After several dead battery incidents, I installed a master power shutoff and voltameter. This bus bar allowed me to connect the battery, motor, and console power to one bus connection. Here are some Pros and Cons:Pros:- High-Quality: The base is crafted from durable plastic. This provides shielding between the terminals and hull and protects against water, especially in a saltwater marine environment. The 304 stainless steel terminals enhance conductivity and resist corrosion; after winter storage, there will be no more green-colored brass terminals.- High amp 200A DC Voltage rating. No worries about arcing or dielectric insulator cracking/melting during engine startup, jump-starting, or on the charger. Insulated junction blocks keep the power isolated.- Everything is included, all needed hardware, etc. You add the monkey grease.Cons:- The form factor is high and large for smaller engine compartments, especially like my Tracker Pro 170, which has a cramped battery compartment. I finally connected it upside down on the bottom of my battery compartment door; I used 2ft long jumper cables between the batteries and bus bar so the door could still swing open and allowed the post to have a safety clearance to other metal surfaces. Even though this was a problem, it was easily solved with some research and pre-testing. The goal is NOT to install the bus bar where the high posts may contact or arc to either the hull or other components; even a tiny arc can ignite any transient gas fumes in the bilge.Overall, I recommend this bus bar for five stars. It's well-built and insulated. The cost vs. value is excellent, providing huge savings over off-the-shelf pricing at a marine store. Use due diligence when choosing a safe mounting location, and this unit will serve you well.

I used these for my boat wiring. I have 12 volt 8 gauge wire running from front to back of my boat. I used these to terminate all the front devices. A anchor winch and a LED head light. I mounted these to a board, and then made a cover to keep fingers safe from unexpected shocks while digging around in the front bow storage.

At first, I was skeptical about the quality, but I had no problem installing and using these.I'm kinda rough on these. I put them in a vice and tighten down the base nut so I don't ever have a problem in the future with both nuts turning. They held up very well to the installation.
