I use these to clean under the bobbin cover of my sewing machine. These tiny brushes really catch and clean up the batting fuzz, tiny pieces of thread that collect down in the machine. Regular cleaning is essential maintenance in keeping your sewing machine running as it should. There are 4 different shapes to the brushes in this set. I think I prefer the 3 narrow shapes over the round because they fit down under the bobbin well. However, the round one easily gathers debris in the larger more open area in the bottom of the machine. The brushes are silicone so could be washed and reused multiple times. I used 4 of these in the process of cleaning my machine recently, changing each time a brush got dirty so that I didn't put lint back down into the machine. I washed the brushes afterwards to reuse again but had trouble getting all of the lint out between the bristles. A few bristles were damaged either while using or cleaning the brushes, but they'll work a few more times. If you sew, you need these.
