I have a John Deere zero turn with a 42" deck. Was running straight cut blades and wanted to change out to a mulching blade. These work great.As you can see from pic 1 - the mulching blade is on the left - and the fit/exchange is perfect.One thing you should note is in pic 2: By design these mulching blades are made of thinner steel: 5/32s v 13/64s. They work well and the thinner size is comparable to other mulching blades that I've used. So I do not see any drop on performance.They are a good value for the money and plenty sharp. I recommend these.

These worked great. Mulched the grass better than other blades, and they seem to be holding up also compared to other blades. They fit perfectly and the cost comparison to other blades was also in my decision to purchase.

Cut very good, hold a decent edge, easy to sharpen. Wish I’d found these sooner for my John Deere S120. Very good value

Before considering mulching blades, you should know:- You'll need to install the mowing deck outlet cover. Mulched clippings should fall down, not be ejected to the side.- You can't use the bagger. Mulching blades do not generate enough airflow to operate the bagger. You need the high-lift blades for that.That said, I installed the blades and cover, and they worked well. The blades fit the mower just like the originals. They didn't vibrate nor make undue noise when running. They cut as well as the previous blades and chopped up the clippings small enough to drop back into the grass. The blades survived mowing some sticks without damage.All in all, the mulching blades are exactly as described.
