This package consists of 2 spring operated tea infuser balls and a tea scoop. One of the tea ball infusers has a perforated top and bottom half, and the the other has a perforated top and a solid bottom. If I were to venture a guess, I would say the difference is related to the strength of the tea you wish to brew. The scoop is obviously used to add tea to the infusers. Use as much or as little tea depending on your own specific tastes. The infusers open by way of a plunger and pushing it down opens the infuser. Simple to use, easy to clean. At just a bit over $8 for this set - it's a steal!
