About this item

  • 2pk--9"--(1) 20t blue HAWK & (1) 68t red RAZOR -- COMBO 2 Blade HYBRID Pack--RENEGADE BLADE - Carbide Brush Cutter weed eater Blades - 230mm diameter
  • BLADE ATTACHMENT PARTS: Our blades are "Universal Fit" provided you FIRST acquire "Blade Kit" parts for your Trimmer model, (we don't sell these parts). IMPORTANT>> A blade does {NOT} fit directly on the tiny 5/16" axle that the "String Spool" screws onto, ALL string trimmers require some type of blade mounting parts (normally 2 small discs, nut, and cotter pin) to run a blade (YouTube can show this). We offer TWO arbor sizes: 25.4mm (same as 1") & also 20.0mm with reducer washer.
  • CARBIDE -- is estimated to last 10x longer than plain steel but does not cost 10x more creating incredible value. The CARBIDE MIX in our teeth is proprietary and 2nd to none. We use the most expensive highest "COBALT" content YG8 teeth in our Hybrid Blades.
  • FIVE BLADE TYPES -- All 5 specialty types of blades we offer are as follows: (1) RSB. multi-use: 8-80t, 9-100t, 10-120t... (2) RSB. brush & brambles: 8-32t, 9-36t, 10-40t... (3) Red RAZOR Hybrid combination blade: 8-56t, 9-68t, 10-80t... (4) Green VIPER Hybrid brush & brambles: 8-44t, 9-48t, 10-52t... (5) Blue HAWK Hybrid brush only: 8-20t, 9-20t,10-20t
  • RENEGADE BLADE is the ONLY Carbide Brush Blade BRAND on Amazon that has a {REPORT} from the foremost Testing Laboratory: UL, LLC.

(1)---UNIVERSAL FIT -- each of our blades will fit either 25.4mm Arbor (same as 1”) or a 20mm Arbor with included “reducer washer” with YOUR "Blade Hardware". (2)--- IMPORTANT |BLADE HARDWARE: A Blade will {not} fit onto the Trimmer Axel Shaft by itself like the String Line Dispenser Spool will, so you must acquire "Blade Hardware" (mounting adapter kit or parts) that consists typically of two small discs; one has a raised circle on it that the blade hole (arbor) fits onto, the 2nd small disc is the cap disc, then screw on the Nut and apply a Cotter Pin. Sorry, we DO NOT supply blade hardware. (3)--- CARBIDE MIX in our teeth is proprietary and 2nd to none. Just Tungsten is not enough; additives like: Hafnium, Tantalum, Titanium, Molybdenum, Silicone, Zirconium, Boron, Niobium, Chromium, & Vanadium, make for a better Carbide Mix for longer lasting teeth. (4)--- ULTRA HIGH RPM: Our blade is built for any RPM even super high RPM Trimmers (10,000+ rpm). Manufactured with a more flexible steel as compared to the much more brittle steel found with table saw blades (table saw blades can shatter if they hit an obstacle, plus they are only built for approx. 3,450 rpm so they should never be used with gasoline powered Garden Trimmers. (5)--- RENEGADE BLADE is the ONLY Carbide Brush Blade BRAND on AMAZON that has a {REPORT} from the foremost Testing Laboratory: UL, LLC. (6)--- CHOOSING THE CORRECT BLADE: Blades line up on a polarity scale with maximum TEETH on one end [for CUT] all the way to maximum CAVITIES [for GRAB] on the other end. EXAMPLE: Wood tree limbs require more teeth and no cavities, and wispy flexible brush or grass requires maximum grab as teeth alone just pushes grass over without cutting. THEREFORE: You must pick a {Teeth & Cavity Pattern} that best suits your material being cut. We offer blades to handle any: Wood, Bushes, Brambles, Hedging, Brush & Grass.

I LOVE these blades…until I hit anything hidden in the brush and brambles not brush or bramble. 2-3 small rocks, a brick, small piece of metal…D.U.N. Dun. Might keep a set on hand for “special” cuts and let a 2 for $20 set do twice the work.

Put one of these on your string trimmer and experience what it's like to be able to cut down 2" diameter trees with a single swipe. Great blades.

Blades work like a champ and are much cheaper than the non-carbide-tipped OEM Husqvarna brush blades.

In our application these blades are truly amazing. They last longer than any other blade we have used. We get extended life out of them by keeping them out of the rocks (most of the time) and by cleaning the buildup from green brush off of them regularly. The only downside - many sharpening centers can not reface these tips OR their cost is more per blade than buying two new ones.

While I've only used the red blade so far its superior to the chisel tooth Stihl brand blade. I managed to dull that stihl blade in about 2 hours. I have used this blade for 4 hours straight today and it was cutting trees 3" or larger in diameter with absolutely no effort as if it were grass. Cut stuff to the ground, dead trees and stumps , hit rocks and dirt, gravel driveway, vines, etc. Still cutting beautiful. I am using a Stihl FS560 so it's pretty much unstoppable with this larger 9" blade. I had no problems with bogging down or anything. I would bet smaller cutters / trimmers would be better with their smaller blade of the same design. Price is right and works great...buy it.

Have only used the Hawk to clear some brush and trees. Anything less than about an inch and a half is barely noticed. Even losing a few teeth in a wire fence hasn't slowed it down.

So far I've only used the renegade, because it hasn't gotten dull after 3uses. I have acres of woody stemmed weeds from 3-5ft tall (Kocha, wild Sunflowers, and Tumbleweeds). This blade powers through all of it with my brush-cutter on fast idle. With the ability to cut my weeds at near idle I can usually go about 2.5-3 hrs per tank of gas. This saves me money on gas and down time refueling. I'm very happy with how the blades are holding up. The plain metal blades (which actually cost more than these) would be dull by now and I would have had to resharpened it at least 2x. These blades are going to be with me on the Frost Farm (frostfarmnm.com) for years to come! Bad to the bone!
