Be prepared to look at several videos on YouTube, as there are no instructions at all. Make sure to use the spline or it will be impossible to get the head back off once it's tightened.

Definitely a pro product- very heavy duty and easy to attach to power head. More expensive than it should be considering whole trimmers (including power head) are not much more than this alone.

In two years my seven acre weed patch wore out the trimmer attachment that came with the Husqvarna 324LDX I purchased. After reading the reviews, I was worried about this purchase.It took me two minutes to take it out of the box, put it together and attach it to my trimmer--the same process when I purchased it two years earlier. Same product, same process, same result. No worries.DX means it's professional grade. If you have a Husqvarna DX trimmer, it will fit and work as well as your original trimmer attachment. No worries.

It works well. The "bump" mechanism for releasing more string is quirky but it does the job over-all. Make sure this trimmer fits your power-head. If you bought your power-head from Lowes, this one probably won't work. That is the LD model and this one fits the LDX. The LDX is higher quality model line. The first one I ordered arrived with missing pieces but the seller shipped another one quickly and credited me for the damaged one. I would buy from them again.

MONEY WELL SPENT , made in Australia, it would not attach very easy the first couple of times to the point that I planned to return it, so in that respect has a really bad design. the pols saw attachment did not work and it took me almost 3 hours of wrestling until I attach it to the main shaft . but once attached it has a real good power and works like a charm . the only bad thing about this equipment is the terrible attachment design, I'm pretty sure that HUSQVARNA will loose many sale because of the bad design.
