My business bought the hot air sterilizing cabinet as we use a lot of clippers, tweezers and such. It works great. However, we bought some sterilization pouches which say on the package it is for dental autoclaves and the pouches scorched/burned and the plastic melted. Not the fault of the autoclave, it's just not meant to have pouches used. We use our autoclave almost daily and am very happy with it. One of the knobs fell off and broke but looking closer, it looks like there is a tiny screw that keeps it tight so this won't happen. Since didn't see if it was in place when purchased or if staff placed the knobs on, I can't fault the machine. Since the screw has been tightened, there has been no issue. I'd recommend the dry heat autoclave sterilizer for any business that doesn't want to have the hassle of draining and cleaning a water autoclave. It is not for a business who had lots of tools to clean. It has a bottom and top shelf which almost sits one on top of the other and the space is small. I can usually clean several nail clippers, tweezers and scissors at one time but they overlap. There are instructions on how long to run the sterilizer, a timer that turn off the machine when it reaches timeout and a there is temperature setting. All easy to see and to set. This is all manual so the knobs twist. Nice machine, works like advertised, we are happy with the product. Just DON'T use paper/plastic sterilization pouches inside the autoclave. If you need them to be in a packet, take them out using clean technique and seal them inside the pouch after they are sterilized.
