The ends of this cable are actually metal!For the sound quality I personally think gold plating is a snakeoilWhen the cable fails I will open it and let everyone know if it's actually copper wire or aluminum!

Hey look, it's another cheap product from a company name that is probably based out of China with a name that's barely better than a random selection of letters. This is actually pretty decent though; I mean, it's just a four-pole headphone extension cable, but it has stress relief rubber and the cable itself has a fairly stiff braided nylon outer that ought to also keep the cable from kinking too badly and fraying the internals. So far I'm pretty dang satisfied with it. And it was cheap.

By visual appeal I'd give it a 4+ stars the construction looks like some of the better head/mike extension cords I have bought in the past, However the most important factor is durability. This item fails and fails hard, after less then 2 weeks of usage the left headphone channel went out. normal troubleshooting ie unplugging and replugging in headset/w mic and unplugging and replugging extension cable left channel is out. I suspect that the wire of the left channel inside the cables jack or the wire connection to the left side contact to be broken.
