First, I think these are lovely, and such a charming idea: flowers captured in resin. I've made a few things like this with pet jewelry and modelling projects and such, and these are absolutely a delight to see. Whether these are real flowers or little bits of silk flower, I can't say with certainty - but either way: bold color and beautiful arrangement - mine were very similar to the examples pictured, so buy with confidence if you like what you see.Second, as picks *per se* I found them a bit graceless. They're quite thick, and truthfully I don't know why anyone would really push the playability angle at all. Treat them as decorations, e.g. something you could glue on the back of your computer or your guitar case or something - cool! As picks, they're less impressive. Because these are poured resin, they are uneven - convex on one side, slightly oncave on the other. They are smooth resin, so if your hands sweat, they might get slippery. Finally, the more you use these, the more it's going to scratch them, and they won't look as good.So this would get 5 stars from me for a decorative element, 3 as an actual pick - I'm splitting the difference and calling it 4.
