This is a set of plastic stencils in varying sizes of both the size of the squares and the outer size of the stencil. The stencil for the larger sized squares is the largest, and so on as the squares get smaller. I will be using these for stenciling walls and floors in a dollhouse I’m restoring. Great!

I’m in love with these stencils! I absolutely love the variety of sizes that are included in this set. You can make a hand made chess/ checkerboard or you can use the stencils for painting walls, and use the smaller ones for papercrafting. The possibilities are almost limitless with these. The lines are cut crisp and the price point is excellent for this set. I love them and I highly recommend them.

I envision making stacks of tiny checkerboards to give away to kids, (making use of all my scrap lumber) and these will definitely do the trick. The stencils are cleanly cut and of the perfect thickness for repeated use. I will have to move the stencil over to get one extra row since checkerboards are 8 x 8 squares, but these appear sturdy enough to get plenty of use out of them. Can't beat the price!

These stencils are very handy for all kinds of projects. The square grid design made it easy to create clean and even checkerboard patterns on wood, fabric, and walls. The different sizes in the set gave me flexibility depending on the space I wanted to cover. The material feels strong but flexible, so I could use them on flat or slightly curved surfaces. The edges stayed sharp, which helped make neat lines with paint. Cleaning the stencils after use was simple too. They helped my DIY crafts look more professional without much effort. This set is great for anyone who likes to decorate with patterns.

This 4 pieces of checks or gingham pattern stencils is made of sturdy material. The individual squares in the stencils range in size from about 1/4", 1/2", 7/8", 1-1/8", 1-1/4". These will make great traceable backgrounds for layering with other paper elements on paper. For painting on paper or fabric, they will also make a great background but, since the edges are so narrow, I will have to use painters tape and be careful about painting over the edges.

These stencils are just alright. There are really large gaps between the checkers. So either your checkerboard won't connect at the corners or you will have to go in with a detail brush to extend each square. Each stencil sheet is 12x12in and are sturdy. I'll still use them but wish they connected closer together.
