I want to be very honest with this review of a Mother of Pearl Tissue Box Cover. I am 64, and in all of my life, I have never owned a tissue box cover. I have seen thousands of them, and most are simply acrylic or plastic or maybe wood. I have seen metal ones as well, but seriously, I have not seen any tissue box covers that are as elegant, “artsy” or beautiful, as this Mother of Pearl tissue box cover.This box is bigger than the tissue box, so it fits in this cover quite easy. The opening is very big as well, allowing for easy access to the tissues. The best aspect of this tissue cover is the design. It is actually a modern design, being black and white squares in a pattern, but the vibe of it is almost old-fashion—maybe a little bit country, but the style of this tissue cover can complement any decor, whether it be old-fashion, retro, country, mid century, or modern.This Mother of Pearl Tissue Box Cover makes a statement wherever it is placed. Everyone will take notice of it. That is for certain. It is unique, beautiful, retro. It looks almost hand-made—like from an arts and crafts fair from the 1970s. LOL. It is very cool and groovy!
