Ringing Rocks ArcheryI had an absolutely terrible experience with this company, if your looking for a U-finish bow I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This company has extremely bad customer service and quality control. This was my first U-finish bow, I ordered a 45-50 # 64” bamboo backed hickory longbow. The bow arrived in the mail, everything looked fine and I was excited to start working on it, I made the mistake of trusting the company that the bow was in the 45-50 pound range that I ordered, I spent a month working on this bow, hand carving the grip with snake scales, and adding real rattlesnake backing. I was so happy with the outcome, the bow came out absolutely amazing that is until I put a string on it and tried to draw it and I couldn’t get it to anchor. I weighed the bow and it is 80 pounds at 28”. When I emailed ringing rocks archery they blamed me claiming that me adding snake skin backing added 30 pounds of draw weight and that they sent me a 45-50 bow. That right there shows the experience of this company. Anyone that knows anything about snake skin backing knows that it will add around 3 pounds of draw weight to a bow, No where near 30. After Ringing Rocks blamed me they refused to do anything about it after waisting a month of my time and money I put into the bow and are now ignoring my emails. This company is and absolute joke and has absolutely no integrity it the products they sell. Just know if you order from them there’s a good chance the poundage will be drastically off then they will refuse to send you what you paid for.

Mine is awesome, I think 55lb was a little to much to practice with. I'll get a lower weight and move back up to it. 0 complaints for the price
