These are exactly what I needed - some of my plants need additional support and for the plant pictured I simply needed something for the stems to lean on. They can be cut to fit your desired need. They’re very strong and sturdy. Length is great as is but can be cut if you need a shorter one. I will definitely buy them again when needed.

I did use these. I don't know if these are super helpful though. I had some metal fence type stuff and threaded these through the holes and used it to sort of make my own tomato cage. That worked nicely. But overall - I mean you can't attach them to each other really well. At least it comes with ties but still. Unless your project just needs sticks, this is ok.

My title is tongue in cheek, but also true... sometimes you just need a stick, and this is a nice bag of them. I currently have them propping up young plants in my garden, but sometimes my houseplants need a little support, too. You just never know when a stick is going to come in handy. I imagine they're also great at poking, waving, and tapping. It's a nice pack of 50 bamboo sticks. The sticks are smooth and pointed at one end. It really is handy to have these on hand, and I think it's a great value. I would recommend this product.

These are great bamboo stakes - exactly the ones you are thinking of (likely), and at such a great price!

These stakes are brilliant, especially at this price. You can use them for orchids, or plant labels, or homemade flags, or paint stirring. They're tough and don't bend or splinter. I’ve been using them to mark where I’ve planted seeds and bulbs, and also as a way to label my iris varieties since I can never seem to remember which is which. I used some waterproof business card sleeves for the iris labels, and even though the holes in the card holders were the exact width of the stakes, I had no trouble threading the stakes through because they were perfectly smooth. Definitely recommend.

These are straight and even, without crooks or the grain running off the side to notice. They are sanded smooth, no splinters or roughness to bother you or your plants. These are a pretty standard material in the miniaturist's lumberyard, 5mm or 3/16" in diameter, about 432mm or 17 1/4" to the start of the point. Thicker than cooking skewers, they function as a small dowel in uncountable projects. They are a good thickness for 1:6 spear hafts, and don't bend under the weight of a halberd head. They also get built into architectural details or furniture. For bakers who prefer wood to acrylic, they hold up a cake layer well if you just cut them to length and use enough for all the weight above, letting you build those Tower of Babel cakes taller than people.

One of my countertop hydroponics gardens came with a few stakes, but the other one did not. I wanted more of them but have had trouble finding the right size to fit as most are too large in diameter.Diameters of holes in this sort of ‘garden’ can vary slightly, but these stakes work with both of them and being bamboo, they could easily be sanded or whittled to size or shortened as desired. What I really appreciate is that while the other stakes I had are cut straight on the ends and would not stand up straight or securely, these are pointed on one end (but not sharp at the tip), which seats into smaller hole at the bottom of the opening. These stand straight and secure when inserted in the planter's shallow stake holders.Obviously, they're good for numerous other applications too. I’m very happy with this purchase and feel that the number received is good for the price.

Great value and pretty sturdy. They didn’t break when I had to put them into some slightly compacted soil.
