Pro barista here. This feels way too light to hold up and feels cheap. Not a fan of the handle design and they logo their product way too much for a mid brand if that. Walnut on their products looks different (not just the grain and color but even sheen is different so it looks hodgepodge).

The wood handle always unscrews and comes loose. It also is not very hard wood.. dented when I tapped it against the trash to get the grounds out.

Wood handle is already fading after only a couple months use. And I only hand wash it.

Omg I love my new portafilter. It may be me but my coffee is soooo much better. The handle was a little lose after my second time using but it seems to tighten pretty easy.

We love this portafilter!! It did take a little bit of time to get used to it, and alas it works best combined with a WDT tool and a puck screen -which we had no idea we needed to begin with. This is because the portafilter is bottomless, which is great if you want to see how your coffee is coming out (evenly distributed and at the proper infusion time) it’s actually very exciting and it could help hint what you may need to adjust in your espresso prep. Also, we have a Breville Grinder Pro and if you use a “screw-on” funnel (ours is a Knodos) this portafilter fits perfectly under the grinder. The walnut handle is beautiful!

Used for the VERY first time and the grinds spilled everywhere. The handle where it attaches to the cup is totally awful. Build quality is absolutely awful. For the price the handle should have metal insert glued to the handle with threads. Anyone who has ever worked any kind of trade knows that this design is incredibly terrible. The hole isn’t even centered so the handle is all wonky. I’m tired to being ripped off of my hard earned money by companies that think they can simply ship terrible products and people will accept it.

A Must-Have Espresso Tool for Breville Users This 54mm bottomless portafilter from KNODOS has been an absolute game-changer for my Breville Barista Express! First of all, the build quality is superb. The natural walnut handle feels premium, much better than the standard portafilters that come with most machines. The stainless steel naked portafilter head allows me to see the espresso extraction process, which has helped me fine-tune my grind size, distribution, and tamping for the perfect shot every time. This portafilter fits perfectly with my Breville Barista Express, and I’m confident it will work with other models like the Bambino, Infuser, and Duo Temp Pro as well. It comes with a double shot filter basket. The bottomless design is not just about aesthetics—though I have to say it looks incredible on my espresso bar—it’s really functional. Being able to watch the espresso flow out in real-time has helped me improve my technique and spot any issues with channeling. My espresso shots are more consistent and flavorful than ever before. If you’re serious about espresso, this 54mm bottomless portafilter is a must-have accessory for your Breville machine. Not only does it perform flawlessly, but the walnut handle adds a touch of class to your setup.
