I needed a spare laptop charger for work, but I wanted one with a USB-C connection because it's more versatile and it will work with my other laptop as well. This one is a 65W fast charger, but I use it for continuous power. It's like many chargers in that it's very functional and a great value. This charger does not look like it's been built very well, but it feels well-built.

I found myself in a weird corner, because a 65W charger is really only good for a Chromebook, as opposed to a full-fledged laptop...which I would have known if I had researched the wattage requirements for my laptop before reviewing this charger. With that in mind, it's perfect for this extremely niche use case. Having said that, I wouldn't recommend it if you have a little more money to spend, since you would get more utility out of a combination charger if you have the budget. (e.g. this charger is technically 2x the price, but has 6 times the ports for charging https://a.co/d/33BUg87 )

It powered my laptop up like I hoped that it would. The plug fit in nice and snug and doesn't get hot.

I was shocked to find a branded HP charger at such a good price. Normally chargers branded by HP are sold for a much higher price. After I got the charger, I inspected it, and it has all the branding and feels the same in weight and shape as my original OEM charger that came with my laptop. Great value and works great with my laptop.

Has the expected safety symbols.Works fine with compatible laptops and great to replace a broken/lost one or if you work from multiple locations.Note - the listing photo shows a US plug, unit is supplied with fused UK 3 pin plug. The unit also comes with a sticker over the HP logo, warning that it might get hot. Also the information on the back suggests it has a barrel connectorand only support 19.5V & 3.33A, it is a more generic USB-C power supply.Given the inaccuracies on listing photos, knocking it down to 3 stars.

I had to get a replacement charger because my dog chewed through the original. This one is doing exactly what it is intended to do. I really love the universal USB Cs because it works on my HP and my MS laptop. Cord length allows it to be functional and there is little or no heat that I can tell. Not the fastest at charging, but also not remarkably slow. This meets my expectations.

Major piece of junk. Would not power the HP laptop as advertised. Very disappointed. Avoid this product in my opinion.
