I like how this kit uses water pressure to blast away debris in the pool — it makes cleaning easier and faster. However, the hose connection is not very secure. When the water pressure is slightly high, it tends to pop off, which can be frustrating during use. With a better locking mechanism, this would be a 5-star product. Overall, still a very useful set for basic above ground pool maintenance.

I must admit, although this pool kit is for above ground pools, I got it for my in-ground pool and I’m so glad I ordered the pool kit. For a very reasonable price, you get several pieces of pool equipment, a vacuum, pool rake net, aluminum pole, and pool brush. It is very lightweight for easy use. The vacuum also comes with two medium size collection net bags. I’ve always wanted to try one of these water hose vacuums but didn’t think they would work well. I WAS WRONG. The vacuum works great! It really does. I can vacuum and fill the pool with water at the same time. The pool rake net is medium size but the bag is deep. It flows through the water with ease and great at scooping up leaves and twigs from the pool bottom. There are some major attributes using this type of vacuum. One doesn’t not have to charge it nor does it run out of power. There aren’t too many moving parts cutting down on maintenance. Lastly, it is simple to use, connect and go. There are some minor issues I found that kept me from giving this product a 5 star rating. 1) The vacuum connection shown in the picture attached is a twist/slip/push together type connection. Consequently, the vacuum came apart a couple of times while I was using it. Maybe the two parts should be molded as one or have a snap on type of connection. 2) The vacuum collection bags have a Velcro type closure. From personal experience with other pool cleaner bags, the Velcro closure will eventually fail. A zippered closure would be an improvement to the collection bag. In addition, some of the smaller particles get stuck in the Velcro making cleaning the bag a hassle. 3) The vacuum head should be widen by 2 to 3 inches in order to cover a larger area. That being said, this is a great pool kit at a very reasonable price. Even with the aforementioned minor issues, I would recommend this pool kit for anyone with an above ground or in ground pool.

I knew I would love this kit from the moment I opened it! The 1st picture is what I saw at the top of the box- A Big Smile!! It brightened my day! This is such a great pool cleaning kit! Its got everything you need. The pole connects several pieces so you can customize the length that works best for you. Its build is light weight plastic & aluminum. The heads change out pretty easily, just press the longer set of buttons above the short set. Connect the vacuum head to any standard garden hose. The fine mesh net collects all types of debris from large leaves and toys to fine sand & pet hair.
