A couple of issues with this pole. The first one and the most important is that I can't get anything to fit on the pole.The product description does state that the pole should fit most standard pool skimmers, nets, brushes, and vacuums. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I tried 2 different nets and a brush that we had, and I also tried two of my neighbors' nets, brushes, skimmers, and vacuums. All different, yet standard sizes that you buy at any pool store and none of them fit on this pole. The plastic piece that snaps into the accessory is too short, so you are unable to snap it in place. The next issue is the sturdiness. This pole seems a bit flimsy and is not heavy duty. I do not recommend this item.

I needed an extra pool pole for my yard so I didn't have to constantly switch out the brush, skimmer, and vacuum hook. This fit the bill with one exception, the plastic blue tip doesn't allow fitment for the brush or skimmer, the only attachment that fit is the one for my robotic pool vacuum. It filled a need but I could imagine that others may not like the design as it is not a "universal" fit.

This is pretty nice, comes in two pieces with telescoping poles which have a pretty long reach. I got them for a purpose other than pool skimming, but it is apparent they will work well for that. This is only the pole - you will have to get the attachments for the separately.

Overall this extension handle is pretty good. It is, in fact, Aluminum. It's not super thick but I think it's about right because you don't want a product that extends as far as this one to be too heavy duty or it becomes unwieldy. The only reason I took off one star is because the plastic bits all feel weak. It's hard to describe exactly, but you know that feeling where you're pretty sure if you tightened it as hard as you could, it would almost certainly split down the side? It's that. Sort of brittle feeling plastic. If you're careful with it, it will probably last fine though for a good bit. I will let you know how it lasts.

This telescoping pool pole is a god send ! I recently purchased the ProTuff Flat Pool Skimmer Net that has a unique handle that appears to only connect to their own brand pole which is ridiculously priced at over $200 . Thats right you read that right ! While I live and breath I cannot justify that price for a pool pole and now I do not have to ! This pole has a wide enough circumference that the unique handle for the ProTuff product easily slides in , and I have tried over 5 different poles and this is the ONLY one out of them all to fit that handle and allow me to skim to my hearts desire. I cannot express how grateful I am to have this pole ! The quality is solid and appreciated greatly !
