There are three types of signals in the I2C bus in the process of transmitting data: start signal, end signal and response signal.
Start Signal: When SCL is high level, SDA transitions from high level to low level, and starts to transmit data.
End Signal: When SCL is at high level, SDA transitions from low level to high level, ending the transmission of data.
Response Signal: After receiving the 8bit data, the IC that receives the data sends a specific low-level pulse to the IC that sends the data, indicating that the data has been received I2C write timing.

3.3v compatible for ESP8266 is a good bonus. Work very well. The onboard illumination can be turned off via GPIO pin if needed. I don't need the illumination because I monitor the color of status LEDs with it so they self illuminate.
