Your cart is empty.Made in the USA, our mower blade balancer is a great combination of practical, functional, and simple. It works as a typical cone balancer, but with more precision. Our balancers are made with anodized aluminum and stainless steel. They are built to last a lifetime (just like our sharpeners). The blade holder is spring loaded with a uniform cone, which allows the blade to rest perfectly centered on the balancer. It can accommodate blades with a center hole from ½" to 1 ¼" diameter. Blades with star shaped holes or other odd shapes will work, as long as the hole is symmetrical and the inside dimensions are within ½" to 1 ¼" diameter.

I had a cheap $5 cone blade balancer with different slot sizes, but the slots never fit my blade so they were always a pain centering my blade and couldn't get a good balance.Got tired of fighting with it so got the American Sharpener company blade balancer. It's made from billlet aluminum and stainless very nice quality as it should be for the $$$$. Just sit the blade on it and it self centers itself perfectly every time no guess work. The blade levels come out perfect. You can tell the smallest out of balancing, it's that sensitive. You get a perfect balance from it every time and peice of mind knowing you won't be damaging you deck spindle bearings. You just get vibration free operation out of your mower. I checked the balance of my new sets of blades and not one of them from the factory are balanced so I balanced all of them. I do use a 60 grit flap disc on my Milwaukee M18 grinder coupled with a blade sharpener jig which American Sharpener also makes so you can get the perfect sharpening angle on your blades. Blades come out razor sharp and perfectly balanced every time.TIP:With the blade on the balancer I place a 3 foot level in front of the blade to get a visual of just how out of balance or balanced my blades are. Makes leveling more visual so you get that exact balance every time.

This company only produces high quality devices. I’ve had their original lawnmower blade sharpener rig for several years (avoid the cheap knockoffs out there) and the excellent design and quality is evident in this blade balancer that they have made. It isn’t cheap, but the genius spring loaded centering cone makes it worth the price. Unlike all those tiny plastic or cast zinc pivoting balances that either don’t fit some blades or are difficult to precisely mount, this American Sharpener stainless steel beauty - with that unique spring cone - make it impossible to accidentally mount the blade off-centered. I would put this blade balancer up against any of those fancy expensive wall-mounted magnetic contraptions (I’ve tried a few) and it would come out on top every time.

Very nicely made out of metal. I tried several unusual center hole mower blades and it did self center the blade
