I got this as an Anniversary gift for my husband on our 15th anniversary. I think it's a good way for us to focus on the positive, creating building of our relationship. We get so wrapped up in life sometimes we forget to appreciate what we've accomplished together and how things have changed through the years - ideally for the better. My husband really liked the gift and we both agreed for each of us to fill in portions of the previous anniversaries to fill in the blanks. We had some good years and some not so good years - and it will be fun to put photos and info in from those good years, so we have something fun to look at together. The book itself is bound really well. It's too tight to lay completely flat but it can go fairly flat. The cover is like a light green linen and the pages are thick so it does present well. The subjects to fill in are really good - with things like houses we've lived in, goals for that year, wins, favorite memories, jobs, etc., for each year of our marriage. There's plenty of anniversary pages for a lifetime for sure, with places to put in pictures for each Anniversary, and other important life events. There's also pages for your family tree, children, pets, etc.I think this would be a really nice wedding gift or first anniversary gift, and it is a good value for a high quality Marriage Anniversary journal.

After 30+ years together I didn't think I could be surprised by the emotion invoked by the prompts in this wonderful book when my husband thumbed thru it and reminded me of some pretty cool stuff we did back when we were just starting out. I am already planning on ordering a 2nd one to give to a friend that is getting married late this summer. Expect tears and amazing memories to roll in and IF you are just starting out, be sure to write in lots of little moments, not just the big ones. Of course you will remember that really expensive vacation, but will you remember that week you were not feeling so great and your significant other stepped up to care for you, the kids, and the house. Or that drive you took the wrong exit and didn't realize you headed in the wrong direction for an hour, but in getting turned around you found that little mom and pop cafe where you sat for 2 hours having the best lunch ever? It really is those little, seemingly insignificant moments that we cherish. Record those together.

I got this for my wife and my anniversary, and flipping through the first few pages; I knew this wasn't like other relationship scrapbooks I've seen before. It’s beautifully designed with prompts that help you reflect on your journey together, celebrate your milestones, and dream about the future. It was larger than it seemed in the photos and incredibly well made and obviously high quality. The mint green gives it a really timeless look and appeal. What makes this journal extra special is how customizable it is - you can add pictures, write memories, set goals together, even use it as a scrapbook to capture all those sweet, silly, and meaningful moments. It’s not just a book, it’s an emotional time capsule we’ll keep adding to and looking back on for years to come.Another thing I love about this journal, is that it encourages growth, not just as individuals, but as a team. I didn’t find the prompts to be cheesy, rather they’re intentional, deep, and make you really think about how far you’ve come and where you want to go together. This isn’t just for new couples either - honestly, I’d recommend it for anyone, whether you’re newly dating, engaged, or have been married for decades. It’s a timeless gift. I’m so grateful for this, and for her. It’s a treasure we’ll always keep close; can't wait to spend my life with my forever person as we fill in these pages.

Let me tell you, I did not expect to be weeping into a linen-bound book with silver foil accents on a Sunday afternoon—but here we are.'Our Love Story' is the kind of journal that makes you reflect on your relationship and wonder, "Wow, how are we still married after that IKEA trip in 2015?" From the moment I opened it, I was hit with an overwhelming urge to both hug my husband and also force him to sit down and fill out the "Year Three Reflection" while I hovered with snacks and gentle threats. This book is gorgeous. The hardcover has that classy, we-actually-have-our-life-together vibe, even if you’ve spent the last decade arguing about thermostat settings. The dual ribbon bookmarks? Fancy enough to make you feel like royalty, but practical enough to keep your place when your toddler hides it under the couch. The prompts are sweet and thoughtful. There are spots for EVERYTHING:The first awkward date (walking around campus and running into an ex—ah, young love),The proposal (spoiler: on the beach in Mexico),The wedding (which cost more than my car),Anniversaries (including the one he forgot but will now remember because IT’S IN THE JOURNAL),And even future grandbabies, (should they appear) may want to know how grandma and grandpa survived the Great Netflix Password Crackdown of 2023.And the back pocket? Genius. That thing now holds concert tickets, love notes, and a drawings our children have made of us that looks like two potatoes in love. Precious.Whether you’re newly engaged or have already started calling each other by your pet’s name out of pure exhaustion, this journal is a beautiful way to honor your messy, funny, evolving love story. It’s the ultimate wedding or anniversary gift—or in our case, a "we survived another year without a major appliance breaking" celebration.TL;DR: Buy the journal. Document the love. And maybe—just maybe—remember to leave enough room in Year 60 for matching track suits and synchronized power walking.Highly recommend. Would give it 6 stars if it came with wine.
