So far so good, BUT gave only 4 stars because, as others say, it comes tightly wrapped and the creases cause it to not operate correctly. HOWEVER, put it in sun laying flat for at least 2 days, then install and it will work perfectly. Would give 5 stars if the instructions provided that insight. Seems well made and is functioning great.

It is a perfect fit for my 3900 sport. It is well made and should last quite awhile. I installed it in about 2 minutes.

This is the second brand of this hose I’ve purchased for the Polaris pool cleaner. It is a work horse hose. It under goes normal ware but lasts just as long as the name brand, Polaris.

Let's face it. A tail sweep hose has one purpose. To flail around behind your pool cleaner.There's a foam "scrubber" and eight black wear rings that actually touch the pool surface.The foam scrubber is made to disintegrate.The wear rings on all tail sweeps are probably made of nylon or ABS and should last a long time.The "Genuine" OEM Polaris tail sweep costs $60 to $85 everywhere you can find it.This AITE brand tail sweep costs $20.There's clearly not much difference, if any, between the two brands.The price disparity accentuates the huge markup on Polaris parts.Just buy the $20 one.The only con? The ATIE one feels SLIMY (like a fish) for some reason when you touch it, whether in or out of the water. I don't know why. I also have not compared it to the "sliminess" of a Polaris brand tail sweep because I don't have one and I don't intend to pay $60 to $85 to find out!

Great replacement for OEM hose. It’s packaged tight. Recommend you heat up a pot of water and add the hose in its entirety. This will eliminate all kinks, tail sponge deformities, and make for easy attachment to the hose barb.
