1000% Satisfied. It's exactly like everyone else is saying. It comes 90% assembled there's probably about seven screws left to complete the assembly. Put it in the pool and it worked flawlessly. Buying a second one just to have down the road, at this price it's worth having a spare one.

I am absolutely blown away by this purchase. If you own a pool and own the Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 Vacuum, then you know they cost $600 plus tax. It's a huge expense when it fails and it's time to replace or rebuild. If you choose to rebuild it, the kit costs about $120 bucks and contains only the inner workings to get your old vac up and running again. This kit however is NOT a rebuild kit by any means. I almost did not click on it because I saw the price and thought it was too expensive for a rebuild kit at $209. After I placed another rebuild kit in my cart for $120, something made me click on this one and read what was included along with the reviews. What I found out blew my mind! This so called kit comes almost fully assembled and includes an entirely new vacuum, not just tune up parts to use on your old one. I read this listing a few times to make sure I was reading this correctly. Since I'm Prime and have free returns, I took a chance and OMG I'm glad I did. Guys, this is a whole new vacuum. You will only put together a few small pieces that you will do with your eyes closed and in minutes will have a new vacuum. You will then disconnect your old one and throw it in the trash! If you don't believe me, look up Polaris Vac-Sweep 280 Pool Vacuum in Amazon and anywhere else and you will see these things cost over $600 bucks. I just got one for a little over $200. As far as quality, since I have a real Polaris, I can tell you the quality materials are identical. I can't tell any difference and as a matter of fact, this one feels better built. They even include a zippered bag which is better than a velcro bag. Even the zipper bag feels like high quality. Quite possibly the best purchase I have made on Amazon period! I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the seller and hope they read this. In times like this when prices have skyrocketed for everything, it's an amazing gift to see something like this. I actually saved a little over $400 dollars which I can use on chlorine, DE powder or even two new pool side loungers. So happy right now.

All of the reviews are spot on! This is a new unit that comes 90% assembled for less than half the average cost of a unit from the factory in a pretty box. I literally took my time installing the 2 remaining pieces, dropped the cover in place, hooked it up to existing supply line, and finally fired it up! Assembky start time to up and running was 20 minutes. Unbelievable!@#!YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS UNIT.A RARE FIND WITH HUUUUUGE SAVINGS!One side note, instructions call for rear thruster jet to be locked in straight forward. This is way past wrong! If you do this, your cleaner will struggle with staying submerged . The correct setting per Polaris is up and to the left. I remembered this from 10 years ago with the unit I just replaced. Soooooo, if your cleaner keeps going to the top of the water and floating, it's because of this 1 setting!

Like others, this sounded a little too good to be true. A completely new cleaner, nearly fully assembled for this price? Well, based on the reviews I decided to give it a shot, and this is what I found:They were right! A completely new cleaner, 98% assembled, and excellent quality. The items left to assemble were minor, straight forward, and easy. The already assembled portion was done well with a good fit, and all screws snug and ready to go. I was fully assembled and ready to go in under 10 minutes. After only minor adjustments, it's running great and cleaning better than my old unit has for years. Time will tell how it holds up, but the quality look excellent! Better than my old Polaris 280 that I squeezed 20 years out of after frequent repairs and replacement parts.I paired this with a new OEM Polaris feed hose, and now have a completely new setup at about a $230 savings! Like others, I was a little reluctant, but am very pleased with the product. If you're considering a rebuild, go a little extra and get this instead. I highly recommend it, and would do it again in a heart beat.
