  • If there isn't faucet nearby, you could also connect the automatic waterer for chickens to a rain barrel or even garden hose for easy water access.

  • No need to disassemble anything. You simply lift the tongue in the water cups to stop the water flow, then clean the cup and lower the tongue again to resume the water flow.

I bought this guy to replace my 5 gallon heavy duty waterer after it finally cracked. Now I'm a small time chicken lady. I have 4 senior hens and I'm not great at regular water changes, etc. Which with my last waterer, was really BAD. It was always mold and gross, and is unsafe for the birds. NOW... I have constant clean water for them. They love the new waterer and fresh water, I love never having to clean the thing. If you have a chicken coop and want convenience for yourself and your chickens then, this is a great device for you. I recommend this to anyone.

I was a little worried about this but it has been amazing. My chickens love it and it despenses the exact amount of water. It does not leak at all. I love how it stays clean.Will be passing on this product to my friends.. Every chicken coop needs one of these, especially in heat, can’t have them running out of water.
