I got these because I was honestly tired of fighting with cling wrap that would rather cling to itself than to what you need it to. They're a bit difficult to open at first, but once you figure out how to open them, it's easy. The plastic is thick, and the silicon film is thick and stretchy, making them feel very durable. I love how easy they are to clean and store. I've noticed my avocados and tomatoes lasting a lot longer now that I've been using these. There's a variety of sizes that allow you to store more than just what's shown, adding extra function to these nifty little tools. I highly recommend getting these and ditching cling wrap.

Literally OBSESSED with these little gadgets. We are a household of 2 and ALWAYS have half an onion or half a tomato in the fridge from whatever we were making, and I LOVE these mini holders. They are easy to clean, we toss in the dishwasher on top shelf or hand wash, they are quick to dry, their size fits any item we have gotten from the store, keeps the food fresh to re-use again, and love the bright colors to see what we have available in the fridge. PERFECT little kitchen gadget and we use ALL of ours every week with a summer garden going.

We constantly have onions and tomatoes getting dried out in our fridge drawers - it's such a waste of food. No more! These things are awesome. They keep a half onion or tomato (and other round produce) fresh for much longer without needing to rely on bags or plastic containers. Just keep in mind that if your produce is oddly shaped, it may not fit (like a weird red onion I used recently). But overall, these produce savers and going to keep us from throwing out a ton of veggies.

What an excellent invention! I often need to store ½ of an orange, avocado, or onion. I prefer not using plastic wrap since it seems wasteful and bad for the environment. However, using a container to store these doesn’t seal air out and shortens the storage life. These little containers are so easy to use, reduce plastic waste and seal air out so well. The soft silicone is very stretchy and easily molds to the item being stored. They are also color coded, so you don’t accidentally store fruit in the onion storage. Although they are dishwasher safe, I choose to wash mine by hand as I have found that my other silicone utensils have a tendency to pick up detergent odors from the washing machine. These are excellent value for the price and will end up saving you tons of money over the long haul. I highly recommend it.

This is a fabulous collection of durable, safe, and practical storage containers for a variety of kitchen staples. I have used the same avocado keeper for years and decided to add the rest into the repertoire. They all work very well, keeping onions, avos, lemons, tomatoes, peppers, and apples fresh. The design is thoughtful and suits the purpose. The clear stretchable top conforms to the shape of whatever is inside, protecting from oxidation. I really appreciate being able to see the item inside so I don't forgot I have half of something or other stashed in the fridge. They wash so well by hand that I do not use the dishwasher on them, so I cannot speak to that.My original avocado one is going strong after several years, and I have no reason to believe these will be any less durable. The size of each is perfect for the indicated food, or another item of similar size. They are easy to use, and once you get the hang of it, opening and closing is a breeze. Highly recommended to keep produce fresh with a touch of color and whimsy to boot.

These cut produce savers are handy little containers for your leftover bits of fruit and veg. Disposable baggies always result in browning fruit, and they just add to the landfill, so I try not to use them so much.I already had some silicone pouch-style food savers when I ordered these Tesacot ones, so I split an apple between the two of them to compare their performance. After four hours in the fridge, both halves of the apple showed minimal browning. The one in the Tesacot container might appear a little fresher but it’s close. For ease of use, the pouch style wins, as all you have to do is pinch and close the top. With the Tesacot, you have to stretch the silicone membrane over the cut side of the fruit, line up the plastic frames, and snap them together. The circular ones are a little easier to shut than the oblong avocado one. But I wouldn’t say that any of them are particularly hard to deal with.Looks-wise, the Tesacot wins because these things are just so cute. The shaping and color coding to match particular produce is not only visually appealing, but it helps you to locate the container you’re looking for in your produce drawer much faster.Lastly for durability, I am going to give the nod to the silicone pouches. They are constructed of a much thicker silicone, and I do worry that the thinner silicone used in the Tesacots could rip or eventually tear away from the frame, rendering these things useless. In the end, I would say it’s a draw for me.I’ll give this product four stars, but since I do have concerns about durability, this is one of those kitchen products I’d strongly advise to hand wash only.

This product claims to have been updated to make the containers easier to open . . . well, I found them hard to open but they do open and close (the avocado-shaped container is difficult to open and close) so they're usable. There seems to be a tiny bit of flash inside each container that I can't remove. The container colors are nice--that's about all I can say regarding them. I don't think this product is a good investment of your money. It will serve its purpose, though, but I wouldn't buy it again. Three stars is my rating for an average product: Not bad but not what I'd prefer in a product.
