Only used once but had a great Smokey flavor. Ez to start and had nice controllable temp. Only negative was some of the pieces were very big (size of 2 fists)

Why did I have to waste time breaking up large chunks to fit in a regular starter chimney? Waste of grill starting!!

This charcoal worked great and did what I needed it to do in the smoker. It’s just that the amount in the bag isn’t much at all. Had I realized it, I would’ve passed … just based on the quantity for the money. Not worth it!
