There's a lot to be said about these. The first thing is they feel a lot lighter than I thought they would. They don't feel as robust as I would like. Don't get me wrong, they aren't the cheapest feeling metal items I've gotten. I would say these are mid-tier, they will work. But I'm not sure how long. The second thing is the installation, it was horrible. It has a really interesting design to fit onto your motorcycle. But what I see is a opportunity for failure. Having multiple screws holding together a plate that is wrapped around the bar that you will be using to mount. Is a horrible idea. The more screws you have there, the more chances they'll get loose fallout while you're riding. I don't know about you but if my foot is on this thing and it gives way in the middle of a ride that could be catastrophic. These four screws going into the plate were snug, I also added lock tight to make sure. Honestly a hinge would be more secure and less chance of failure. The more screws you have the more failure you could. If one of the screws is tied down and the other one is not it starts to shift, so if you lose one screw on the highway the thing will slide down. The plastic guards that they have are standard, nothing extremely fancy, just enough to get the job done. While doing installation, one of the metal pieces chipped. And the black paint came right off. I also noticed imperfection in the paint, ripples in one of the joints. There were some other small ones, this might be an issue for the pain staying on for long periods. While installing and trying to screw these screws in was a bit of a pain. Having to use an Allen wrench, screw them on while holding the plastic pieces underneath my Chrome bar was a bit of a challenge. If they just went for a hinge instead of these four screw Allen screws. This would have been an easy process. And I would probably rate it higher. I'm taking one star off because of fit and finish. The paint chipped while doing an install, as well as the ripples in the paint which make me think it will eventually chip off and corrode. I'm taking another star off because of the build quality. For pegs like these they should be heavier and feel more robust. Taking another star off because of the design. Having four screws for a separate metal plate to hold it in place is just not a good design. If the four screws offered something to the design, like the ability to adjust for size, so you could do more than a 1 inch bar, then that would make more sense on why they chose this. But because this seems to only have one size range I don't see what was the point. To make it difficult to screw on and then fight with it to turn without scuffing up your Chrome. Overall for about fifty not a good value. If these were twenty five. Then we would be talking a good deal.

Great adjustability on these stainles blackened highway bars. Finally found an adjustable footrest for my Goldwing. Black stainless finish looks amazing and after some time adjusting the angles I can finally rest my 6'3" frame comfortably without my shins digging into the edge of the fairing on longer rides. Easily installed with the included hardware. You will need your own hex wrenches. Built well and fits perfectly on any vertical highway bars.

Product seems to be well made, and of high-quality. The metal is heavy and feels very sturdy. There are no visible defects that I can see like chipped paint or anything. The package comes in a cardboard box with some foam to prevent any damage during shipping. There’s a small pamphlet for instructions, very simplistic with diagrams, but pretty straightforward. I haven’t installed it yet, but it looks like it won’t be a problem. Only note I would make is that I wish it came with a tool to install the washers more easily. Other than that, I think it’s a good product. Also, FYI, this product is made in China, if that matters to anybody.

Heavy duty! These are bigger and heavier than I expected, which is good. The mounts work as intended and come with shims to get the fit right, just make sure to measure your highway bars with a caliper to make sure their the right size. Installation is nothing out of the ordinary. Recommended

Heavy duty, well constructed. For a motorcycle part it's a good value. If you get it for the right frame (measure, measure), it attaches securely. Very practical and looks great on my bike. It comes well packaged, but they should have included an allen wrench (the star tips) even if a cheap one. I hate when sellers don't include such an item. I had all sorts of allens but not everyone does. The little screws, 4 x 2 pegs aren't easy to put on. They have to improve this. It was like they didn't fit.... they did with effort... .this was the hardest part to install. One of them failed (stripped). Not good. Also, after a couple uses the black paint is peeling off.
