How do I set up and install the Big Looper garden hose holder?

You mount it using the included bracket. Visit your local hardware store and select mounting screws based on your home's façade (3 screws required). Depending on the length of your garden hose, measure your preferred height from the ground to the top of the Big Looper. For 25 ft. hoses, we recommend mounting it a minimum 30" above ground; for 50 ft. hoses, we recommend a minimum 40" above ground; and for 75 ft. hoses, we recommend a minimum 55" above ground. These heights ensure you have enough space below to make big loops with your hose so that it can relax. After determining your desired height, mark drill holes with a pencil and then drill holes with a power drill. Then install the bracket, making sure the orientation is correct and "THIS SIDE OUT" text is facing you. After the bracket is firmly in place, simply slide on the Big Looper hose holder. You can then place your standard garden hose on the mounted holder starting with the groove closest to the wall (#1). If your hose is a little stiff, we recommend leaving it in the sun before placing on the hose holder.

How is the Big Looper different from traditional garden hose holders?

Unlike traditional hooks, our hose holder's patented design provides easier hose organization, preventing hose kinks and tangles. Its gradual, grooved design lets only the hose you need unspool as you use your hose. It also includes a built-in J-Hook for easy and secure nozzle storage.

Does this hose organizer support any type of hose or mounting spot?

Our Big Looper garden hose holder was designed specifically to hold standard garden hoses (5/8") up to 75'. While you can use it with longer (e.g. 100 ft.) and non-standard hoses, keep in mind it won't be as easy to get your hose onto the holder and it won't unspool as easily or nicely. We recommending mounting the bracket on a flat wood, brick, stone, or concrete surface.

Does the entire hose hanger get mounted to the wall/surface?

No, only the included mounting bracket gets screwed into the wall/surface. This allows you to take the hose holder off and clean it or store it for the winter.

I have several plants that require hand watering--which means dragging a hose around the yard. The biggest hassle is trying to unwind a coiled hose laying on the ground. That's where this hose holder comes in. The holder is lightweight with a small bracket that is screwed to the wall, then the holder is put on it, and the hose is looped from the back to the front. When you pick up the nozzle and walk away, the hose will pull off as far as you walk--then it is easy to loop it back onto the holder. It is a nice design, and the cut out holder for a nozzle on the end of the hose is a nice touch. My only issue is that for it to work as designed, it needs to be installed higher than a typical hose holder. For a 75' hose (the maximum length), it should be installed at 55"--that is only a few inches shorter than I am, which makes for a reach. I love that it is Made in USA.

It's a lightweight decent idea. I'm not sure it will hold up long with extra mounting holes drilled in it and screws affixed though. This and not mounting hardware being included are reason I choose to give it 4 stars.I think the looper itself is a good idea,, but if you put weight on it without extra screws,, I am betting it will fall and tear up your siding, so consider atleast 2 extra screws when mounting this.

The hose holder arrived on time. Installation was simple, we had exsisting holes in the wall and had to add one more. The hose holder works as advertised and cleans up the mess of our old hose holder. The hose dispenses as far as you walk away from the wall. Super easy to rehang a 50 foot hose. No more hose frustration
