  • EFFICIENT WHEEL BUILDING: The Nipple Driver is a must-have tool for winding up spoke nipples during wheel building, helping you build tensioned wheels efficiently.
  • EASY TO USE: With an extra-long design, the Nipple Driver prevents damage to the rim and works well with deep rims. Its comfortable grip centers and drives nipples accurately and quickly, saving you time and effort.
  • SECURE AND DURABLE: Made of high-strength stainless steel, the Nipple Driver is strong and durable, with a long service life. The spring-loaded head holds the nipple securely, and the design makes it easy to withdraw from the nipple, protecting the nipple from falling off into the rim cavity.
  • VERSATILE: The Nipple Driver can be attached to an electric screwdriver, greatly increasing the efficiency of spoke lacing and wheel building. It also comes with extra 2 PCS spare spring heads, 1 PC screw, and 1 PC installation tool, providing worry-free use.
  • ESSENTIAL TOOL: The Nipple Driver is designed to self-center and drive conventional bicycle wheel nipples onto spokes quickly and easily, making it a great time-saver and an essential tool for bicycle wheel building. Once your wheel is assembled, you'll need a spoke wrench in order to build a true and tensioned wheel.

I bought this tool to help remove and replace spoke nipples that had corroded. It was very helpful in removing the old nipples. When it came time to install new ones, I installed the small retainer spring. It did not grip the nipple well at all. I ended up putting a small piece of "BluTack" on the end of the driver to hold the nipple while threading it onto the spoke - worked fine. For the money, for occasional use, this tool is just fine.

The screwdriver shaft moves around too much to ensure a secure connection. This immediately went to the bottom of my toolbox, not to be seen again, and I went back to other methods of holding the spoke nipple that actually work.

I've laced several wheels without this tool, using my own makeshift nipple tool. This driver tool is more reliable making the job a whole lot easier without getting a spoke nipple stuck in the inner hub.

This tool is designed to help you lace up your own wheel spokes, or at least to replace the spoke if needed. However the operation is cumbersome, you have to install the little hairpin into the driver bit, and use the hairpin to hold the nipple cap, which most of time it doest hold well.It helps with the spoke repair but practically you cant really use the tool to tighten the nipple cap, you still need a spoke wrench once the cap is engaged.
