It works flawlessly with dead air tri lug flash hiders. I was installing a recessed flash hider and a wrench wasn’t an option. This solved the issue.

My Surefire 3p flash hider didn't include the wrench needed for installation. Since I had to buy one anyway, I figured I would spend a little more and get something nicer compared the the thin and flimsy wrench from Surefire. This thing is well-built.

Have a few different types of Surefire muzzle devices (Warcomp, 3P Eliminator) and I bought this item in a haste, not realizing one of the packages had the factory Surefire 3-Prong wrench in it (apparently, some do, some don't). This wrench from Real Avid is a REAL tool. It's solid, sturdy, and does not mar the muzzle device. Some people complain about it's limited use and the cost, but it's literally a tool designed for one purpose, and it excels at it. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Definitely recommend if you're a gunsmith or you're a person that regularly install and uninstalls 3-Prong devices.

When I received this, I thought it would be a light cheap quality felt. But I was wrong, this is perfectly heavy and felt of great quality. I used it on a dead air flash hider and Surefire Warcomp without any problems. I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to install 3 prong flash hider and worried about scratching yor flash hider.
