I have an older one for my cassettes but the rear axle stud stuck out too far on my wife's Trek Domane+ to allow access to the disk lockring. This one is much deeper. Seems like decent quality. Hopefully it will last years like the other one has.

This tool solved a problem for me. My original tool is too shallow to accommodate the thru axle depth needed to reach the lock ring. This works perfectly on my SRAM lock rings.

This cassette tool is a much better design than others that require the use of a socket or open end wrench. The combination of the 1/2 ratchet drive and pin makes it incredibly stable with little chance of twisting and stripping out the nut. Very good!

This fit my cassette - Shimano CS-HG70 - and a torque wrench I bought (Hairich 1/2 inch drive click).The tool, wrench and a chain whip worked well to take off the cassette. I was able to change out two broken spokes and put the cassette back.My bike is a 20+ year old Trek so it was nice to find a tool for a perhaps old and discontinued cassette.

Foolishly I assumed 15mm was the standard through axle size. It's not (anymore), 12mm is.As a result, the 15mm sleve is too big for modern through axles.This doesn't stop the tool working - it still fits well and you can use without the sleeve.
