We live in the high desert where the water is hard and alkaline. Getting the pH right has been our biggest chemistry problem in maintaining the pool. This product works well whether broadcast or put in one spot in the deep end. I love that Amazon stocks pool supplies. I usually put in a bulk order with one of the discount pool supply houses at the beginning of the season but I inevitably need just a bottle or two of something before the season ends and Amazon is fabulous for that. Good product and easy delivery.
