The MAV AquaDoc Pool Alkalinity Increaser is exactly what it says on the bag—no fuss, just reliable pool care. I’ve used it on my above-ground pool, and it works like a charm to stabilize alkalinity and keep the pH where it should be. This makes the water feel nicer and helps avoid the annoying issues that come with unbalanced chemistry, like cloudy water or skin irritation. The 10-pound size is perfect—enough to get a good job done without overbuying, and it dissolves easily. I appreciate that it’s made in the USA, which feels like a plus for quality and safety. If you want your pool water to behave all summer long, this alkalinity increaser does the job right.

My pool needed a little Alkalinity bump so I ordered this product. It did what it was supposed to do, getting my alkalinity in the correct range. It seemed to dissolve in the water just fine.

This has helped to keep the levels in my pool where they need to be. Comes in a big bag, kind of heavy, helped my pool out a lot. Really works.

10 lb bag of basic baking soda. A bit on the expensive side but baking soda for pools all basically works the same to increase pH and/or alkalinity. Keeps my pool water clear.

The bag can be resealed, has clear instructions with dosages, etc. Good price compared to local store.

A good quality product made in the USA. The package is 10lbs and is a great value for the price. Simple to use, quickly dissolves. I have been able to test strip my hot tub in under an hour and the alkalinity is quickly at the correct level.

This product worked fine, dissolved quickly, and increased my Alkalinity as expected. However, my rating takes into account the fact that alkalinity booster is simply baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and you can buy a 10.8lb. bag of Arm & Hammer for $11-$15… there’s no reason to spend 3X for essentially the same thing.
