Whatever your task at hand -- whether it's launching that boat before daybreak, setting up your camper before the rush or getting a final load to the dump before close -- CURT class 3 trailer hitches offer the strength needed for serious towing. They make it easy to hitch up and Bring It, offering a vehicle-specific fit and the weight capacity to handle a variety of trailers. Custom class 3 hitches are the most common type of receiver hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs. Because of their weight range, they are also found on full-size cars, crossovers and minivans. Each custom-fit class 3 hitch package is made for vehicle-specific mounting. This particular kit fits certain years of the Toyota Sienna (see application info to verify vehicle compatibility). It provides a weight carrying capacity of 3,500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW. It is also compatible with a weight distribution hitch for level towing and a rating of 5,000 lbs. WD and 500 lbs. WDTW. CURT class 3 trailer hitches are typically used to attach and haul utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, snowmobile or ATV haulers and more (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest-rated towing component). Each class 3 hitch has a 2" receiver tube and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. To ensure that CURT class 3 receiver hitches have what it takes for serious trailering, they are designed using a hands-on approach and are constructed with rugged, high-strength steel and precise welding. We also protect our class 3 hitches in a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and black powder coat for superior resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage.

This fit amazingly well on my 2022 Sienna and I was able to install it myself because the part fit so well!

So far so good! Took 1 hour 15 minutes to install. Watched one YouTube video. The wood was nearly the perfect height for supporting one side. Included a photo of the plastic cut to drivers side panel.

Bent so bad! Tried to force it on. No way! Won’t even come close to fitting. Returned it. Bought the competitors product and it fit perfectly.

It looked like I got either a damaged or defective returned item. The holes did not line up, and I had to chain multiple clamps to force the two ends to squeeze it in by about an inch, before I could screw in the bolt. However the middle washers didn't really fit and sightly crooked because it's against the wall of the hitch, so it can't lay flat. I read on several forums/reviews that others had received defective units where the holes didn't line up for them either. A lot of people also seemed to have an easy install though So there might be a batch of defective hitches. Also the box it shipped in had 4 big holes on it from the hitch bouncing around. It was literally just in the box with nothing to support it or prevent it from bouncing around. The holes were all covered by another layer of cardboard, but the hitch punched a hole in that too. (See picture). This leads me to believe I got either a damaged hitch, or a defective one that was returned and they didn't re-package it well. The bad packaging also caused the ends and the hitch receiver to grind the coating off, exposing raw metal. I was afraid of corrosion, so I had to spray a layer of my own coating as a precaution. However, it does seem very sturdy and stable once I got it on.

I like the looks and the fact that it does not "stick out" like the OEM I could not get, anyway. Curt was honest about the fact that it takes a little learning to find the "sweet spot" to use your foot to open the rear hatch. Also, the OEM has a very ugly, visible, metal channel to feed the trailer harness through to the hitch. Since my use is going to be only "once in a while", and only with a small trailer, and even though the capacity is very good, I find that when I need to tow, I will simply lay the harness wire out the hatch, letting the weather strip hold it lightly in place. I did have a little problem in bolting on the sixth bolt to the car frame. I needed to supply a little wedge to allow me to place it. It is a very clean look. and looks like it belongs on the vehicle, not like the pictures I saw of the OEM. Built very solidly, and the price was less than half of what I would have spent at Toyota. It causes no interference with the OEM bumper, and all the sensors work normally. Would by again, if I had another Toyota.

Very heavy but solid hitch. Installed on 2023 hybrid Sienna and the kick sensor for the trunk still works if you just put your toe on top of the tow bar. Very easy to install. I had a similar hitch with my old van 2007, and it out lasted the van.
