You're suspended! That’s not a good thing to hear if you’re high-school kid... but if you’re a microphone, this can make the difference between a clean recording and utter garbage.This microphone holder/suspension from Zangc is designed to support a tubular-body microphone (like certain makes of large-capsule condenser mikes, for example) with a body diameter of around 1.75 inches. The suspension frame attaches to a standard microphone boom with some provision for adjustable “tilt.”Once installed, your mike “floats” on a four-point elastic-band suspension, providing isolation between the mike and rumble/sounds that would otherwise be conducted up the stand/boom and into the mike.This is not the most extravagant incarnation of this kind of device I’ve seen, and it’s not likely the best. However, it does provide meaningful benefit (provided your mike fits) and the quality is commensurate with the asking price.
