My bike's disc brakes are the center lock kind. So when I needed to replace the rotors, I wanted the right tool for the job.This is that right tool.It has a good weight to it, nice finish, and the grip on the handle is comfortable. The length is right too so you can get enough leverage on it when adding or removing a rotor.Can't speak for bottom bracket maintenance, but disc brake changing gets a thumbs up from me.

This does exactly what I needed to remove a centerlock brake rotor. I havent tried on a bottom bracket but the tool itself is a good size, with good leverage and comfortable. Cannot see why you would pay more as this does what it needs to do for a simple tool.

This stainless steel tool fits my replacement bottom bracket perfectly (44mm OD). First impression when unboxing this thing is just how heavy it is due to the 4mm thick steel it’s made from. This thing is built to last forever. I also appreciate how the interior edge has a slight bevel to avoid marring the bracket.

An item this simple yet accurately produced is always great to find. I had to install a bottom bracket in my bike, but this new one is 3mm larger than the older so I needed a new tool. I found this quickly and ordered it. It arrived the next day!Granted, it wasn't packaged well. Simply thrown into the box among the other items I had ordered but it's a wrench, it doesn't need anything special. The other packages were unharmed by this thing flying around.As I stated it is perfectly sized and did a fantastic job of securely turning my BB into my bike. Plenty of torque due to its length.There are two minor downsides. 1) obviously, this isn't a torque wrench, so be careful when using it. 2) it's hard, and I mean HARD. Harder than my bottom bracket and its anodized black aluminum. If I was building a new bike, I would be worried about scratching the paint, but being careful with its use and removal, things went very well.
