The Canning Supplies Starter Kit is a great kit for those who are just starting to can and those who are seasoned canners. The tool I consider one of the most helpful is the jar lifter. This tool has rubber on it which allows it to grip the jars really well. My other favorite tool is the canning funnel. It helps to keep the top of the jars clean as I am filling them.Sometimes jars can be difficult to open so the jar wrench in this set can also very helpful. I don't particularly find the bubble popper useful, but I am sure there are others who do. The labels are a nice touch and can be written on with a white paint pen, but I rely on the clear glass jars to know what is insde. I will likely use these labels elsewhere. Overall this is a nice starter canning set that I am hoping to get a lot more use out of.
