My CT90 fired up on the 3rd kick! Such a great buy. Didn't have to adjust any of the screws. As others have mentioned, the only downside is that you need to snip off the excess fuel nipple because it's too long. Very easy to do though because the metal is soft. Thank you!!

This does not fit a 1972 Honda CT90. The drain on the bottom of the bowl hits the case.

The reviews that mention the gas drain line pointing straight down are, unfortunately, true. In every other way this carburetor is a direct replacement for my 1970 Honda Trail 90. I don’t know why they chose to put the drain port there, but it was frustrating to get it all the way installed, then realize it won’t work with the drain hose.I did find a work-around. After disassembly, I pulled the brass hose barb out and used a 5/32” drill bit to drill out the correct drain location. The carb body is aluminum, so you don’t need steel drill bits. I was able to gently tap the brass hose barb back into the new location. I used a 10/24 tap to cut screw threads into the old location. I used an aluminum 10/24 x1/4” screw with thread locker and a fiber gasket to seal the old hole.

The bowl drain faces directly down and contacts the crankcase, so the included bowl drain hose can't be used and all the drained fuel will drip down the engine. Overall the carb works very well on my Trail 90. Maybe I can cut or bend the brass drain fitting and attach some sort of hose. The stock carb has the drain fitting face forward. This one is cast into the carb body.I'm still happy I got this one though because I didn't want to rebuild another carburetor. Well worth the price to avoid that hassle.

Tried on 71 ct 90. No matter how you adjusted the throttle it would rev moving the handle bars to the right. Put stock cap on and that fixed it. Then the needle valve jammed when the float would drop causing fuel to leak out of the overflow constantly. Then when I removed the float to try and correct the issue one side of the float had a hole in it causing it fill with fuel. Junk. Returned.

This carburetor is awsome. If am a ct90 and 110 backyard mechanic. I have had my 110 and 90 for about 35 years. The 90 never started good until now! This so a great replacement carb. Literally one kick and it starts and a lot more power and it finally idles properly. Put it one, adjusted the idle and air screw slightly, runs like new. The only thing you must do on this carb is cut the brass drain nipple off by half on the bottom of the float bowl off. It hits if you dont. Then the drain line slides on and your in buisness.

The product worked well in the begging. Bolted right up to my 1972 ct 90. The overflow is badly positioned to i angled the barbed fitting. The issue is the carb will randomly idle up and down, periodically wont run unless the choek is on. I installed in april 2022 and now in feb 2023 is wont even idle and run properly.

This seems to be a great carb, exact fit, runs great…..except for what every review says….why did they install of the brass drain pipe on the bottom of the carb!! It’s bowl is cast exactly like the original. For some reason they drilled the bottom out vs the side for the brass piece. I attempt to bend mine but it broke. Everyone says they have to trim it a little anyone, oh well. Other than that, perfect replacement. I had to turn the idle down maybe an 1/8 turn but it started right up and runs great. I even used the original throttle barrel so you don’t even have to mess with the cable.

WILL NOT WORK IN EARLY 69!.needs to be late 69 and beyond.Worked perfectly for my 1970 and 75 way to big for my 69. Ran a little lean at sea level but was able to move the needle and works perfectly now . Quality is alot better than alot of the other cheapo carbs i have tried on Amazon/ebay to.
