It was alright, felt like small sweet spot and like a wooden plank but my friend enjoyed it so maybe it just wasn’t for me. Cool design and stuff and lots of nice goodies

Great next step up paddle. Being from Buffalo, the Bison was a nice aesthetic touch, but I like the grip I get from the rough surface. I can control the ball much better than with my introductory paddle. Nice quality, and packaging. The company also provides some nice extras, with the tape and weights.

The paddle came in a strong cardboard box with foam inside protecting the paddle. I am a recreational Pickleball player and I have found this paddle plays like an extension of my arm with great control and less noisy than the paddle I have replaced with. This paddle also comes with a zipper case for protection.I am very satisfied with this purchase and happy with the quality of this paddle.

I bought this paddle (summit) when I first started to learn pickleball last year and still use it now. For the price it cannot be beat. I have friends using paddles $100+, and the playstyle of this paddle feels very similar to theirs. On thepickleballstudio's website they have both rampage and summit paddles listed pretty high in terms of RPM produced. IMO if you're just learning to play pickleball, and you believe it's a hobby you will continue, then you will need to spend at least $80 for a decent paddle. Bison's starting prices for their paddle quality can not be beat. Bison uses a lot of the same materials that the popular brands are using. Just figure out which you would like (summit or rampage)!

The surface makes it great for spin.

Came in decent time from The States to Scotland. Delighted with the packaging, presentation and postal packaging protections. Looking forward to trying it out on court. Surfaces feel ultra-gritty, so should be great for spin (per numerous reviews by others online) - and with the lead sections, cleaning pad, cover protector etc seems great for customising. As I say, yet to try it, but seems, feels and lanances like a great paddle. UPDATE - Tried a few times on indoor court. Gives a hefty amount of bonus to spin (though like with any spin, '90%' down to the player - though this adds on). Decent amount of power and was surprisingly quick to adjust to. Finish good, large enough sweet-spot and considering adding weight to sides and bottom arches. Great porduct all round - and all with a guarantee. Have tried out some Silkirks, and IMO this one every bit as goos, v prob slightly better than any other I've tried out.

This is my first pickleball paddle. I using it for about 8 months. I play 3 days a week and for about 2 to 3 hrs each day. The paddle is pretty good and performing spin serves with this paddle is awesome. Worth for the money!

Overall great product. Smashes great if you hit with the sweet spot. The only downside is when you miss the sweet soot area your shot may get an easy win for your opponent.

In an ever increasing sea of pickleball paddles, this one stood out to me due to it's aesthetics, fact that it isn't made by some huge company just churning out paddles, craftsmanship, and finish. It also comes in a nice zip on case, something of a rarity in the industry even among the high end expensive paddles. Even the box it ships in is avant garde. But the important part is how it feels in the hand and performs. This paddle delivers a tacky carbon fiber finish that allows for deadening and spin at a far lower price point than any of its competitors. The construction is quality, the grip is comfortable, and it doesn't look like every other pb paddle out there, the look and design of the Summit is just one of a kind.

This paddle is a game-changer, especially for those venturing into the sport for the first time. The very first aspect that catches attention is its construction. Crafted with carbon fiber, it ensures durability and a lightweight feel, essential for swift movements and long play sessions. The choice of an elongated paddle shape is a stroke of genius, catering to players transitioning from tennis, making the switch to pickleball more intuitive and less daunting.Performance-wise, the paddle excels in providing maximum ball spin. This feature is a boon for players who love adding a bit of flair and control to their shots. The spin capability also adds a tactical advantage, allowing players to outmaneuver opponents with deceptive spins.Another commendable feature is the 16mm Polymer Core. This core is not just about strength; it's about responsiveness. When you strike the ball, the paddle responds with precision, giving players a great sense of control and feedback. The USA Pickleball Approval stamp is like a cherry on top. This endorsement assures players of the paddle's quality and adherence to competitive standards, making it a reliable choice for both casual and competitive play.In summary, the Rampage is an exceptional choice for beginners and tennis converts.

Bought the summit and rampage paddle for my and my girlfriend to play with and we are both very happy with both. Used for about 2 months and using both paddles to play with to get a feel of the differences. We both just picked up the sport and dont have much experience with other paddles but for the the price and quality of bison paddles we are very happy with the result. I personally do use and prefer the summit paddle more as I am a more aggressive player. As a newer player I did find that when i didnt hit in the sweet spot of the paddle, I would have a terrible mishit and towards the base of the paddle felt like a dead spot. But when hitting correctly, youll hit a great shot. I did add lead weights to help and it definitely helped widen the sweet spot and made shots more forgiving. At the same time it gave even more power and pop to my shots. On defense though I did have to learn to control how much force to use to get the ball back into the kitchen because it can easily give the opponent an easy spike. Playing with the rampage is much easier for an all around game that still has good power. Sweet spot is wide, drop shots are easier to hit, easier to defend spikes and definitely still packs a punch. The carbon fiber is holding up very well and gives tons of spin to my shots. I do use a carbon fiber cleaner but still works great without it. Overall very happy with the paddles and dont regret buy these over another brand.

I started playing Pickleball a few months ago and was instantly hooked. I am a school teacher and found out one of my old students is now a professional, ranked somewhere in the top 100 worldwide. He came out and gave some pointed on how to improve the game. He let me use one of his paddles that had the carbon fiber face on it that gave the ball some extra spin. His paddle was close to $200 and I was not in the market for spend that much. I choose the Rampage-Bison Paddles: Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle. Priced at around $100 dollars I was willing to pay for the increased control of my game. I have used it now for a little over a month and I am extremely happy with it. It has the perfect balance of pop and control for me to maintain control of the ball and make it harder for my opponent(s) to counter. I can add or counter almost any amount of spin put on the ball against me as well. This is a great paddle for anyone from professional to beginner, enjoy!
