This particular braid does well in all categories. The only issue I noticed is that initially, the line isn't as round as other braids, however, after getting soaked in water and casted a few dozen times, it really limbered up well. Not much different at all from my usual 50lb strength line.While I've used a lot of different multicolored lines (I prefer them), I haven't seen the particular shades that are used in this line before. Good looking line, great performing line. The colors help you visually identify how much line you have out, making it easier to understand your super deep holes, or how far you're averaging if going for long casts.

I believe this is the first 8 stranded braid I have used, and it is nearly indistinguishable from the 4 strand I'm accustomed to using. The forty pound test is every bit as strong as the four strand forty that I have, but the eight strand is more supple and seems lighter. This should result in better touch and increased casting distance.The easter colors were a bit of a shock, but I really like the fact that most guys get a little weirded out by the pastels. I can't imagine that the fish care and it looks very fashionable on my wife's all pink rod and reel.
