I searched long time on Google and Amazon for an outdoor shower that will last long time. I read reviews on most of other similar(cheaper) products on Amazon or even HD/Lowes, and complaints have been on rust, leak, etc after short period of times, and their warranty is only good for 30 days. I just received this product today, and feels very industrial and heavy duty. Just read the warranty statement came with the product, and it's life time warranty on their finishes, as well as on their parts if leak develops. Just what I needed!! I will do a follow up review in a year see how the product withstands the mild southern California weather.

Ok. It IS a well built unit contrary to some reviews. Here's a quick fact folks with "MILD" winters: Depending on its state, freezing water (or ice as temperatures continue to drop) can expand by as much as nine percent at a maximum force between about 25,000 and 114,000 psi.Why do pipes need to be buried below the frost line? Because of this^^^ If you build an outdoor shower and expect to keep it pressurized (or even shut off with valves closed and water IN it) be mindful that even in a mild winter pipes freeze. (I still wonder what mild means. If it drops below freezing for more than a day it's really not mild in plumbing terms for exposed piping.) So some tips: Have hot and cold anti siphon faucets installed where you want the shower. They allow water to siphon off and the valves are tucked safely away from the outside so they don't freeze. Consider wind-chill. If your shower is on the North side of the house in ANY state. EXPECT it to freeze if you don't do this. (hello? Ask FL citrus growers!) The unit has a screw in the bottom meant to allow for drainage when not in use. Remove the screw and OPEN the valves! I wish the soap dish had holes for drainage. It didn't so I drilled it. It's chrome-plated brass! Nice! These guys really tried to make a quality product. The ONLY down-side is what other reviews site, the inside of the pipe isn't galvanized. That really is the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars. That's a bit inexcusable. The rust will eventually clog the shower head so I HOPE the seller is reading the reviews. Glad to pay a couple of dollars more if it is "completely galvanized" I'm going to use it as-is for now and I expect it will be fine for years but I'll eventually replace the riser. I used hot water supply (FIT) lines and MIT converters with adapters to hook it up. We are remodeling this section so it's time to finish paint, flashing and stain but I assembled the shower so we could use it prior. (pic) If you use the anti-siphon spigots you can basically open the valves on the shower full time and use the spigots for control. The 90 degree turns and fitting are readily available and every piece on this except the threaded extensions did not need teflon because they are standard 3/4" water-hose fittings and had the rubber seal gaskets. SOOOO easy!!!! Oh. Shower head is not great. At this price why not? It's ok. But I bought another unit with a wand and head attachment from Amazon that works great. To the MFG GUYS!!!! Please ... galvanize the entire riser pipe... INSIDE and out. You can sell so many more if you invest 15 cents.

Easily installed, appears to be heavy duty. The shower head itself will probably be replaced, but for a outside shower, this is exactly what is required.

UPDATE TO UPDATR: 15 APRIL 2017 - was informed that the product warranty was 30 days. Dang that Brass not lasting 31 uh?UPDATE TODAY 20 MARCH 2017. MILD WINTER HERE : went to add some water to a big bucket of cuttings I'd taken from some plants and water spewed everywhere. THE BRASS HAS A CRACK IN THE PRODUCT. PICTURES AND VIDEO ADDED. Disregard my initial assessment.Added a pool and have wanted an outdoor shower for about 20 years. After mowing 6 acres or gardening or playing ball, it's nice to hit the outdoor shower. It's perfect. I connected to its own hot water heater so I take warm showers and jump in cool/cold pool. Shipping was longer but worth the wait. Matched it with outdoor faucet for cleaning game - washing cars/boats/mowers etc. perfect.
