As a fountain pen enthusiast, I ordered this pen to add to my collection, and it exceeded expectations. While it’s noticeably lighter than other fountain pens, it performs amazingly well. I initially hesitated about the extra-fine nib, but that concern was completely unnecessary—it writes beautifully. The retractable design keeps the ink from drying out, and the ink itself is quick-drying, a game-changer for me as a left-handed writer. Smudging has always been an issue, but with this pen, that’s a thing of the past. The slightly contoured grip is another standout feature, preventing hand fatigue, which is especially important for my arthritis. This pen is cute, functional, and effortlessly smooth—a fantastic addition to any collection.

I love this pen. It provides great control for calligraphy, and the ink doesn't run out and create problems like many of these type of pens do. It's also easy to hold without giving me cramps after holding it for an hour or so.This is a high-quality pen that I highly recommend.

I was impressed with how well and how smoothly this retracting fountain pen fits in the hand. The slenderness of the pen makes it easy to hold in the hand while writing, and the retract feature is a nice variation on the traditional cap design. It pens smoothly with silky smooth consistency and even ink distribution, and the extra fine nib is perfect for close-up note-taking, sketching, or even light calligraphy. I use it to home school my daughter in calligraphy and cursive, which is no longer commonly taught in school anymore. I liked that it came with a lot of ink cartridges and even syringes to reload. The pink color is my daughters favorite, hopefully encouraging her to use the product more often.Bottom Line: This pen combines nice looks with silky smoothness and practical add-ons, making it a good bet for home schooling or other writing tasks, such as calligraphy. It carries a flair that expresses passion in your writing.

I’ve never used a fountain pen before. Too intimidating. In contrast, this design is approachable–halfway between a fountain pen and a retractable ballpoint and as easy to operate. It has ink cartridges which I’d never known existed for fountain pens, and it comes with a lot of them, as well as an empty ink cartridge and a filling syringe in case you want to use a specialty ink. I can’t weigh in on whether these cartridges are an industry standard size or not as this is my first pen of this type, but they do look similar to some I bought online.Writing with the pen is satisfying. It's comfortable to hold–not too heavy or unbalanced. I am used to very fine gel and ballpoint pens and this can put down some nice bold lettering that I can’t get with those. I love love love the little trap door cover that pops out of the way when you push the plunger to extend the nib. It keeps the nib point safe from accidentally being damaged while being stored. It might also provide minor protection to the outside from any ink that could possibly try to escape the internals. The cover at the pen body’s opening doesn’t ever actually touch the nib. The inner mechanisms articulate beautifully. The only thing that made me feel uncertain is the lack of an audible click, but I bet it’s intentional. If the pen clicked, it might be enough force to fling ink out of the nib or something. The packaging is also a storage case for the pen and the refills. Unfortunately the included syringe is floating around inside in a plastic wrapping, and doesn’t have anywhere to be stored securely. Feels like a bit of an afterthought. The phrase “Small bag pointy” is used all over the place on the labels of the container, which is confusing because it is nonsense in the context of anything, including a pen. Funny enough to be a positive quirk for some people.Despite my small criticisms, I'm happy with this product and sincerely recommend it.
