Inaccurate description. I knew that when I ordered it. What part of this thing would any sane person make out of "cemented carbide"? That's just stupid. The properties of cemented carbide are not suited to this at all. It is aluminum, with steel hardware.Anyway, I expected it to be extruded aluminum, anodized red and gold. It is not. The aluminum parts are castings, touched up on a belt sander, then painted. Pretty crude, but it is just a work stop. However, the curved surfaces that mate, and must grip each other well to provide friction and rigidity, do not.Even when very tight, it didn't take a big bump to make it slip.As it came, it's junk. But I assembled it with coarse valve grinding compound, made it "medium tight", and worked all the joints back and forth for a while, wearing the slippery paint off, and lapping the surfaces to match better.Cleaned it all off, now it holds just fine.But..again, how it came, it's junk. I got what I paid for, it was cheap.Somebody needs to change that idiotic dishonest description.
