Charge it and just place it in the water for it to come on .! No buttons to turn it on..

I got this primarily for use in my hot tub and pool steps. Areas that my regular robotic pool vac doesn't fit well in.I found the suction to be very weak when fully charged and straight off the plug. I did see much movement with fine sediment on steps, and picking up little items like leafs or dead bugs I would have to hold directly over item for a few seconds to ensure it picked up. I thought it would get in to the corners nicely with the triangular attachment but this didn't happen. Because the suction pretty much has to be directly under the opening the attachments don't allow this area to reach in the corners so that was a bust.Pros:Nice construction. Batter powered. Compact heads. Easy to use.Cons:Weak suction, even items like leaves I had to hold over it to pull in.Handle is very short, upper steps are reached easily but have to bend down to get bottom of hot tub or lower steps.I would probably have give 2.5 stars if that was an option it kind of does the job for what it is, but it could be better as well.How I choose star ratings.Five stars has to make me go "Wow!"Four stars "Nice!"Three stars. "This will do the job."Two stars. "Meh, it should be better."One Stars "What the heck!"

I got this to replace my manual vacuum for the hot tub. It doesn’t work a whole lot better. The only good thing is that it’s battery operated so you don’t have to do the suctioning manually. I had high hopes.

Perfect little vacuum for my jacuzzi, as I find dead roaches accumulate at the bottom and I DO NOT want to fish those out by hand. This charges up fairly quick and lasts for about two cleanings worth of power. This is super simple to assemble and use, so I’m overall very happy with this.

I have had pools for many years and several different kinds of cleaning tools. This tool is good for, "quick, grab the suction wand, get those leaves out of there and do the steps"....... The front bottom doesn't bend to do a real suction against the bottom of the pool so basically this is a "quick picker upper". It works real well for that, and because its battery rechargeable its great. Just rinse it out and clean it out with the hose. Its a handy tool to have but no comparison to your regular "go all over" pool suction cleaner. It functions great, is pretty well made also, and easy to use, just not a replacement for the real cleaner. I give it a B rating.

We got this to use for our saluspa round hot-tub. It's worked great! It's not too bulky for the small tub, it's the perfect size. It was easy to use right out of the box. It picked up leaves and even pieces of sand from the sandbox. This is a great purchase if you need something to clean without having to drain the water!

I bought this as a backup to my 6 year old battery powered pool vac - I use it to touch up the liner seams (they collect dirt) between regular vacuuming. I had high hopes for this, expecting a lot to have changed since I bought my old vac. Three major gripes:- this has weak suction. You need to have the center over the dirt and then go slowly.- the brushes don't swivel to adapt to the liner. You need to hold it at the correct angle to have it pick up debris reliably.- you need to stand in the pool to vacuum. The handle isn't long enough to stand outside and the handle doesn't adapt to my long screening pole - my old vac does!Quite disappointing.

Surprisingly solid for a battery-powered handheld pool vac. The build feels sturdy, comes with a nice set of accessories, and the telescoping handle is well designed. Charges quickly, and I had no trouble cleaning both the spa and pool steps in one go.Suction is modest (as expected), but it does the job for leaves, small debris, etc. Fine sand/silt passes through the mesh, though. Heads up: the motor turns on automatically in water — no switch! Great when in use, but rinse it outside unless you want a surprise splash in your kitchen. 😬Easy to clean, but takes time to dry due to multiple water exit holes. Also, odd choice to attach the charge port cover to the handle — it leaves the port exposed when you remove it.Still, for quick maintenance, this is a handy little tool. Just know its limits.
