Love these wave makers when used with the Bluetooth control (sold separately). The included remote works but is finicky if not right next to the ir sensor. I actually returned these for a bigger size. I recommend going bigger since they are controllable. Also buy the protection plan. From what I’ve read these tend to stop working after a year or two. I’m hoping if properly maintained and cleaned I will get more out of them. I guess we’ll see. You can also link the Eflux return pump and control through the Bluetooth app.

I bought this kit and an extra wavemaker to go with it. Not one of them made it an entire year. Such a waste of money. I will never purchase this brand again. The cheap $30 wavemaker I bought years ago still works.

I recently upgraded my reef tank's water circulation with the CURRENT Dual eFlux Wave Pumps (1050 gph) and have been impressed with their performance.Pros:Powerful Flow: These pumps provide a significant boost in water movement, ensuring that every corner of my aquarium is well-circulated.Customizable Flow Patterns: The multiple flow modes (wave, pulse, surge, stream, feed) and adjustable intensity allow me to create the perfect environment for my corals and fish.Wireless Control: The included remote makes it easy to adjust the flow patterns and intensity without having to reach into the tank.Quiet Operation: The pumps operate surprisingly quietly, even at higher intensities.Cons:Learning Curve: Programming the pumps takes a bit of getting used to, but the instructions are clear and there are plenty of online resources available.Price: The pumps are a bit pricey, but the performance and features justify the cost for serious reef hobbyists.Overall:The CURRENT Dual eFlux Wave Pumps are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to enhance the water circulation and overall health of their reef aquarium. While there is a slight learning curve and the price point is higher, the powerful flow, customizable flow patterns, wireless control, and quiet operation make these pumps a valuable addition to any reef tank setup.Additional Notes:These pumps are suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The 1050 gph flow rate is ideal for aquariums up to 175 gallons. The pumps come with a one-year warranty.I hope this review is helpful! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I already have a set of these that I have in my 66 gallon reef tank. They are great and the flexibility to move water is great.I wasn't getting enough movement and I wanted to do some "surging" so: - I bought a second set. A few months back I added a third pump to my first set.The only issue that didn't rate lowering the rating was one of the heads arrived without the outside magnet. After contacting them I got a not only the magnet but the whole mounting bracket (inside and out). MAgnet came quickly. Thanks.

This honestly needs to be a 3 pump set up for a 75g tank. These pumps work well, but the directions need to include setting the pumps to behave a certain way.Like pulsemode where the pumps alternate in the cycle, for a 75g aquarium this puts out decent flow. But to get everywhere it needs three 1050gph pumps. Seems like a lot, but with rock scapes, it blocks the corners. Also a must for more random flow, otherwise two pumps will make a circular pattern, and thats about it.Needs cleaning regularly. I had one pump burn out less then a year in. They replaced it no problem. A+. That was from current directly though, not amazon. I think...UPDATE: I've had these pumps for 2 years, and I've replaced 1 pump 2x now. And this time wasn't under the 1 year warranty. So im actually headed to a different set up. I want three years of operation, not having to spend 100$ on a pump every year. Yeah this is getting dropped to 2 stars from 4, for the two pumps I've had to replace.

I have a 60 gallon square reef tank, and I wanted to get a DC wave maker. I’m not made of money, so this one looked like a good start. I’ve had it running in my tank for 2 weeks now, and I’ve really been impressed. Quiet, seems to have enough power, and the two pumps work together very well for a wave-like effect. I hope that they last, as I’m very satisfied so far.One thing to mention is that the pumps come with a filter that fits over the outside of the housing. It gets gummed up in a matter of a couple days, which affects water flow, I’m sure. I’ve heard many people take them off, and I’ll likely go that route, but just to mention that if you use them, you’ll need to clean them every few days. Not a deal-breaker by any means.Oh, and setup was super easy. Programming instructions were easy to follow as well. All in all, a great purchase and recommended.

I have a set of 660, 1050, and 2100 pumps...they are all easy to clean and work well...I ended up buying another set of pumps double the price and I regret it...these pumps are great, and current USA has emailed me back about every question I had to ask.
