This product does not fit my 2015 Toyota RAV4 as I thought it would with the hitch I purchased on Amazon online! I have to return the trailer lights. Must buy lights elsewhere now!

Although delivered in April 2021, due to prolonged illness was unable to install it now. The plug-in connectors do not fit a 2021 Rav4 hybrid Prime. Discussion with Curt indicates that the correct part number is 56434 and not 55307 that was shipped. Being beyond the return window, I am now stuck with a part that does not fit my vehicle.

Easy to install once you get the trim pieces off. There are clear instructions on YouTube that are better than the ones that come with it. Only draw back is the yellow and white wire that goes to the opposite side tail light is just barely long enough. Come on guys, you couldn't have put in another 6 inches of wire??

The item came on time and was as advertised. There was no problem connecting it because the instructions were very easy to follow. It is a wiring harness that goes into a 2002 RAV4 vehicle to properly work the lights on a trailer. I am very pleased with the harness kit especially because I did not have to cut the SUV's internal wiring.

Easy to install following the youtube video. Sticky pad for converter adhered well to car (I cleaned surface well) but the converter dropped off of the sticky pad after a few days. I suggest cleaning the plastic converter box also before placing on the sticky pad. The unit worked perfectly the first time I plugged it in.

I didn't want to cut my 2002 Rav4 original wiring, so I opted for this kit. The instructions were clear and once I disassembled my Rav4's plastic molding, it was straightforward and easy to install. It plugged in without any problems or modifications needed. I only wish the yellow wire was 6 inches longer so that I could have tucked it away a little better, but it is sufficient.The instructions don't tell you how to route the plug to the outside. So in the case of my Rav4, I cut an X slit into one of the rubber caps that plugs a hole located near the back door under the carpeting. The X slit was enough to push the connector through, but also not worry about the wires stripping on the sharp metal edges.This made it way easier to wire my tent trailer lights than doing it by splicing wires. There is not a lot of room behind the interior molding to fit your hands, but plugging in the connectors was simple. Just be patient and gentle with the interior molding so that you don't break any clips.
