This was almost completely plug and play. A power cord does have to be routed safely to the battery compartment. I was able to install on a 2014 Town and Country without lifting the vehicle.

This kit fit my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. The install was simple and straight forward. Has been working great. I would recommend getting a 4 pin tester as well, so you can check your work with confidence.

très bien fait et facile d’installation pour l'ensemble des câbles. Le plus long est de passer le câble pour la batterie. tout s'installe de l'intérieur à l'abri de intempéries . Le prix est super bon aussi.merci

I had it professionally installed and I have had no issues since. I have pulled a few trailers since the installation and it works perfectly!

Biggest pain in the rear is running a wire all the way up to the battery/some hot connection. However, it’s awesome that this connects to the factory tail light connectors! No more cutting and splicing into factory wiring.

Package came with everything needed for install. One MINOR complaint, the "double sided tape" that came with the kit to mount the control unit was so dried out it flaked off/broke apart and was absolutely useless. I opted to permanently affix the control unit using a drill, sheet metal screws, etc.I took my time with the installation to give a perfect install and avoid issues in the future (like I had from a previous Uhaul install job). It is worthwhile to take the extra time to run the power lead through the undercarriage following the rear brake line as a guide. You may get nervous as you get closer to to the front of the vehicle, but theres enough wiring. No moving parts on that route to worry about wires getting rubbed/shorted out.Perfect install, perfect operation thus far.

I was very happy with this product. The install was fairly straight forward. I agree with other reviewers that the solid black cable for power is not a good idea but for me I installed it so I know what it is. I did install the fuse at the battery so the red is at least visible there. Light connectors worked great and install was pretty quick. I had plenty of wire to reach both rear light sockets and the trailer adapter. If you are considering hauling with your Chrysler/Dodge Minivan you might consider the air support system for the rear. I was very pleased with them when I pulled our car on a dolly from Dallas to Miami. See my other reviews for details.

I purchased Curt 56150 T-Connector, the correct T-connector for a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, in March 2017. Last month ie, March 2020, the 10 amp fuse blew. I jumped the fuse but still it would not work. I removed the entire harness and traced for shorts to ground, ie rubbed through wires, etc. Nothing . Of course I checked the trailer lights independently and they were working fine. I concluded that the electronic module of the 56150 had failed. I ordered a replacement unit and 56150 has been replaced by Curt 56331. I installed 56331 today, April 23, 2020 and the trailer lights work fine, again. I really hope that the 56331 last more then 3 years! The ease of installation is great. The plastic 6 pin connectors are a perfect fit into the 6 pin connectors of the taillight assembly. I was not impressed with the short life of the original 56150. It should have lasted more then 3 years. Time will tell.

I bought this wiring harness because the dummies at Dodge/Chrysler decided to install 5 volt LED rear running and stop lights in my 2013 Dodge Caravan. And for whatever reason, the reverse lights are still 12V . So due to the low voltage of the LED's you need a power wire that runs all the way to the front of the van that connects to your battery to power the wiring harness up to 12 volts, as most trailers still have 12 volt bulbs or 12V LED bulbs. The installation went very smoothly, the parts fit together properly and feel well connected and tight. The materials, wire etc are of good quality and should last a long time. Keep a few extra zap-straps handy, as they skimped out on the number in the kit. The installation directions are clear and easy to understand. I also used YouTube and found someone who did a great job of explaining exactly how to wire my vehicle with this kit. I suggest you do the same. Cheers. Nigel
