This dock is an older design but it is one of the few high watt power delivery docks that Dell makes. Dual USB-C ports deliver 210 Watts to Dell systems. Still a good unit to get for power hungry Precisions

Laptop and speakers, keyboard, mouse, clock, printer, tablet, phone, etc… Working from home I tend to have a lot of electronics all about me on my desk at any given time and trying to find a way to keep them all plugged in and not have a mass of cords going a thousand different directions, can be a big headache. With the various cables and the docking station, the adapter and all included, the power it gives with the powerful Ethernet connection port allows me to have everything I need, fully charging, and quick charging at that, with everything plugged into one powerful, and somewhat large, docking station, Dell has once again provided a product that makes things convenient, easy, and reliable for someone like me working from home. Allowing me to connect all my things into one spot, and no matter what systems I am working with, no matter what I am doing, whether my workload is massive or small, it does not matter. It delivers plenty of power distributed properly between the devices depending on what port each one is plugged into.

Okay, what a POWERHOUSE!!! This dock is astounding. It was able to handle 2 additional monitors, both running 4k, charge my galaxy tab AND phone....not to mention all the other shizzles I have attached to this to declutter all those pesky wires....this thing handles it all with ease! No weird disconnections, the connectivity is sound and unwavering. Yes it's a bit pricy, but its definitely worth it. Its quite large, but it blends in nicely with a good setup.

Very easy to use item for your dell computer. All connections work flawlessly. For those with Dell computers, this docking station is powerful. 210 watts of power delivery is excellent. All the displays we've thrown at this have worked perfectly. Sound quality is great, picture quality is perfect. Not sure how well this will work with non-Dell products, but it works super with our laptop. 5 stars.

The docking station arrived promptly, and the docking station does work on my two Lenovo 4K 2560 x 1440 monitors (2 stars). However, only the HDMI cable was functional in viewing on a monitor (I have 2). The included display port cable (DPC) is either dysfunctional, or insufficient to support a high-resolution monitor. Only 1 HDMI and 1 DPC is sent with the docking station and would not display via an HDMI adapter to the lightening USB-C port and HDMI to the HDMI port (only one or the other is supported). Mixing and matching HDMI the display port cable to use both monitors also did not work; this is likely due to the faulty display port cable, but I'm not holding my breath for an operational third monitor. Compatibility documentation from a cryptic compatibility table with a green checkmark and asterisk under HDMI. In short, I had to purchase two higher quality display port cables and that worked. But only came after trying every conceivable adapter, firmware update, and alternate laptop at my disposal. Missing 3 stars for the 3 hours of struggle. May others be wiser than I had been.

The Dell # WD19DCS is a cumbersome docking station. I've been using an old Belkin docking station for a few years and decided I wanted to try out an upgrade. Well, the amount of space the Dell requires is hilarious. The power brick is over 4" x 7" inches. And weighs about a pound all by itself. And the wall plug cable that goes to the brick is SHORT... and the power cable out of the brick is LONG. I don't know why Dell decided to supply a short cord and a long cord as it makes positioning the brick harder than it needs to be.Setup required a Firmware upgrade to get the 3440 x 1440 to work properly via Display Port. Unfortunately using the Display Port cable resulted in a number of "static" lines that would appear on the screen when the mouse was moved. I swapped over to the provided HDMI cable and the "static" went away. So I've removed a 1/2 star for this. I'm not gaming with this setup but if I were I'd be upset that the Display Port advantages might not be able to be used. The dock lacks a headphone port so I have to run a USB-A to audio adapter cable. Not a deal breaker but it seems stupid to remove that. Sure, not everyone will use that port but why eliminate it?For my use there has been no benefit to upgrading from the old Belkin to the newer Dell docking station. I've lost desk space. The Dell fan kicks on and annoys me when it does. If you already have a functioning docking station and don't need the multi-monitor support I'd look at other options.
