Used this to flush a clogged heater core. Can’t believe how much debris it cleaned out. My heater core was almost completely clogged but now flows like new.

Circulated through my boat seawater loop with a rotary pump. Loosened up so much "stuff" that the loop plugged more than the pump could do. After connected a garden hose to the system and blew out tones of scale and shells. Never seen as much flow through the system afterward. Did exactly what I wanted.

While I like the color change feature, it took a full gallon to 3 gallons of water to flush a 7.4L Crusader Raw water side in a closed loop. The heat exchanger and oil cooler were in this loop. I started with 1 quart to 3 gallons, had to add more at 2 hours then more at 20 more minutes, then the rest of the gallon in 20 more minutes. Circulated for 3.5 hours before color stabilized at very pale pink. Nice feature, but at $8 a gallon for 30% Muritic acid (pool supply stores) versus $35 a gallon for 2% Muritic acid (this product) with a color change indication of acidity, I can buy a lot of litmus paper!!!

It's nothing more than Muriatic acid (Hydrochloric Acid) like what you would put in your pool, except that is diluted to 2%. So I just paid $35 for 98% water and some red litmus to turn the stuff yellow when it goes basic. Just as a comparison you can buy a gallon of 30% muriatic acid for $10 at your local hardware store, which would make the equivalent of 15 gallons of this stuff.

I used this to remove sea growths that had clogged the seawater side of my boat's air conditioner. I injected it into the system from the outside seawater drain port, let it sit for an hour, and then flushed with fresh water. It took several passes for the cleaner to remain pink/red. The compound loses the red tint as it dissolves the growths. I was much more comfortable using this than various acids, as recommended by many yachters and service techs.

I used this to clean the heat exchanger on our inboard diesel engine. After 3 flushes, the color stopped changing. Operating temps are back to normal, and all is well! No mess, no fuss. Great product!
