I use these pants during the transition time of early fall in my surfski. Warm and non restrictive in cas of a swim and do the job before transitioning to the drysuit in the latter fall until April. Very nice garment and an even nicer price!

The only downside I can give this is that it doesn't have pockets, but that's obvious. I take this to any and all water activities and I have had no problems to speak of. The fabric holds up against stone and dirt just fine.

These are my first wetsuit pants (or wetsuit of any kind). They work well for my purposes: casual swimming and beach play with my son in water that's too cool for my comfort. I've worn it successfully in water ranging from 60-72 degrees Fahrenheit. I wear them with skins under (Mares Rash Guard Trilastic Shorts) and pair them with an O'Neill wetsuit jacket. I'm 5'8" medium build, size 32 waist in most brands of pants/shorts, 150-155 pounds. I purchased these in size large based on the size charts I saw, and that seems right. When wet, they are a bit loose at my ankles, sometimes riding up. They also can be a bit loose at the waist: a drawstring would be helpful. Could be that size medium would be better for me, but I didn't bother trying. I paid $28, which seems pretty cheap. I can imagine that I'd get a better fit if I spent more money, but for my occasional, casual use purposes, this was a good match.

I just broke these on a paddleboarding excursion on a cloudy, 48˚Fday. While my new neoprene booties immediately soaked through (I did have to wade into the water), I felt like the pants kept my legs warm and dry. I could only feel water sweeping in when I sat on my butt on my board for a bit. It wasn't until got home and peeled them off that I realized that my legs had indeed gotten wet, but the pants did such a great job at insulating them, I felt like they were warm and dry! The fit was snug but not uncomfortably so, and although I was worried they would be too long, they just bunched a little around my ankles. They're so comfy I am looking forward to wearing them again and am glad to have a solution so I can enjoy paddling even when it's cold out.

I am a short but stocky lady (5ft 2in, 165 pounds). So I decided to buy men's L size. It was a very good choice. The leggings are just a tad too long, but it doesn't make them uncomfortable. They are nicely tight, as they should be. I used them on a windy autumnal day for paddle boarding on a lake in Western Pennsylvania.. I try to get on my board from a dock, but sometimes I want to stop at the shore for a bathroom break or whatever, and I need to get into the water. They will be also used for recreational fall/winter kayaking in PA, snorkeling and swimming in Lake Superior and Michigan.
