We recently traveled from the US to Czechia, Austria, and Hungary, via Turkey. Having a Type-C adapter was crucial for such hopping around. Being that most of our newer electronics, like iPhone 16s and AirPods use USB-C now, we needed to make sure we upgraded our older travel adaptors to include USB-C ports to support appropriate fast charging. This was our go-to charger we kept in my backpack for use on the planes, trains, and even for quick charges are cafes while out day trekking. Both of us could easily plug in and get a fast charge in very little time, absolutely no issues with fitting nor voltage. Even our older items that used the regular USB ports worked well. If I were to buy any single adaptor for EU travel again, it'd be this one for sure.

The Tessan CE plug adapter was invaluable for my wife on our recent trip to Europe. Her primary use was in hotel bathrooms to simultaneously plug in a multi-voltage flat iron and multi-voltage curling iron to a single outlet. The Tessan adapter fit the wall outlet perfect with just a little play, but did not come loose. At other times, the adapter was one of our primary phone and smart watch charger, and it performed as expected in that capacity too. I like adapters that do not have retracting prongs, as in my mind they are more robust, though not quite so compact. I will take that trade off. At this time, my wife and I have three similar Tessan plug adapters, and are happy with the performance of them all.

Like others to date, my review can only speak to the appearance of this European plug adapter. It looks like it will do the job but until we arrive on our trip in a few weeks I won’t be able to report on how well it works. I’m pleased that it has the USB-A and USB-C ports in addition to additional standard outlets. We hope to put them all to good use.I’ll update in a month or so with any negative results but I expect all to go well. Fingers crossed!

Packing for Europe like me? I’m bringing it on my upcoming trip, but I’ve already tested that my plugs fit at home and it’s giving major peace-of-mind but I hope it works when I get there. With 4 AC outlets + 5 USB ports (3 of them USB-C), I can charge my phone, watch, Kindle, power bank, and curling iron at the same time. No fighting over plugs in the Airbnb. It is travel-size and lightweight for how much it offers. It won’t hog your bag space and it feels solid. It says it works in all the major EU countries I’ll be visiting Iceland so it better work out. It is type C compatible, so I should be covered across the board. Just a heads-up: it doesn’t convert voltage (most adapters don’t), so make sure your devices are dual voltage. But for everyday gear like phones, tablets, and laptops? You’re good. Basically, if you travel with more than one device and hate carrying a jungle of chargers and converters, this is the move.
